Chapter Thirty-Three – Behave for the Day
He found a place where she could get ready for work. He also wanted to make a decent breakfast because, apparently, the food I had in my cave didn't meet his standards. I had to stop myself from rolling my eyes when he said it because I knew what would have happened (#144). I am still sore from last night. Though, I did get woken up this morning with his tongue in my pussy. It was a nice way to be woken up. I could get used to it.
He is making scrambled eggs with broccoli and tomatoes on whole-wheat flatbread. I would never think of eating broccoli for breakfast, but apparently, that morning I would be.
“Did you have a hand with anything?” I whine, feeling useless sitting at the breakfast bar.
“He, it is testy ready.” He answers, not looking at me because he is too busy cooking.
I sit and twiddle my thumbs. He soon joins me, setting a plate in front of me and one for himself. I glance down at it. It looks really good.
“This looks delicious,” I say brightly.
“Fuck yeah, I want you to eat it all. I will also make lunch for us, too.” He smiles.
I nod, “Yes, Sir.”
A little smirk rises on his lips. Does he ever get tired of that word? I assume not. I guess it has the same effect on him as “good girl” does on me. He also grabs the protein smoothies he made, setting them down before joining me.
“You will come here tonight.”
He isn’t asking. He is telling. What if I had plans? Would it even matter? I don’t, but that is not the point.
“Yes, you will come here for dinner and spend the night.”
I smile, “Okay.”
“No argument?” he asks with a raised eyebrow.
“Nope,”
“Good girl. It would seem you are learning. And if you continue to behave for the rest of the day, I may finally show you what is behind the door you have been so curious about since you first came here.” He smirks.
“Really?” My voice gets higher with excitement. I didn’t mean to be so obvious, but it is something I have been eager to know.
“Yes, but only if you behave. If you mess up, even once or give me attitude, I will still not show you what is behind the door. Do you think you can manage that?”
I bite on my lower lip. I can be good for one whole day. It can’t be that hard.
“Yes, Sir. I can be nice and good for the rest of the day.” I say sweetly, batting my lashes at him.
He stares at me suspiciously. “I am not sure I believe you, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt.”
I smile brightly, “I will prove you wrong.”
“Now, eat your breakfast. We need to leave soon.”
I do as I am told without saying another word. He smiles and tucks into his, too. It tastes as good as it looks. Maybe having him as a personal chef won’t be bad after all. His food is probably the best thing I have had.
I ate everything, not a crumb left on the plate. He smiled proudly at me before taking the plates away to clean up. I offered to help, but he refused again. He prepared lunch for us.
“Do you like tuna?”
“Yes.”
“Good. I am making tuna lettuce wraps with a side salad.”
He really is a health freak, isn’t he? Maybe it will be good for me.
“Sounds good.” I smile.
Once he is done, he gathers his things, and we head to the office in his car.
“You can drop me a few blocks away.”
“Not happening. You will arrive at the office with me.” He replies.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea, Wyatt. I don’t want everyone to know what is happening between us.” I sigh.
I am sure I have told him this before. I don’t want everyone to know I am in some type of relationship with the boss. It will look bad on me, and I will be judged.
He reaches over, resting his hands on my thigh, “I told you; I don’t care what people think. Everyone knows better than to say anything to me.”
“That is fine for you to say, Wyatt. You won’t be the one who they judge and accuse of screwing the boss to get what they want. Do you know how much of a cliché I would become?”
I keep my voice calm because I don’t want to sound annoyed at him. It will not end well for me since I am supposed to be on my best behavior today.
He grips my thigh and groans in frustration, “Fine. I will drop you off away from the office but don’t get used to it. Everyone will find out, eventually.”
“Thank you.”
He lets go of my thigh and concentrates on the road. I can sense he isn’t happy with my request, but he needs to understand how much worse it would be for me than for him. Who is going to say anything to the boss? No one. He can be mad at me if he wants, but I am standing my ground on this one thing.
The ride is silent, and he stops a block away from the office.
“Give me a kiss, and then you can leave.” He insists.
We part.
“See you in a bit, Sir.”
“See you soon, kitten.”
Chapter Thirty-Three – Behave for the Day
I don’t hesitate. I lean over, covering his lips with mine. He places his hand on my face, kissing back. I moan into it while he groans. I climb out of the car, and Wyatt slaps my ass. I squeal, and he chuckles from behind me. I close the door, and he drives off. I start the short walk to the office. How will I feel at work today after everything that has gone on in the last twenty-four hours? Can I act normal? I hope so. I need to concentrate on my job because I still need it. I have no idea how he will act while at work. Will he pretend like we aren’t anything more than boss and assistant? Will he still treat me the way he did last night and this morning, or will he…
I arrive in no time. I take a few deep breaths and stroll inside up to my floor. I can do this. I need to act normal. Work is my…
