Chapter 11
Clarissa snatched the envelope from Kieranโs hand, tore it open, and held the letter right in front of her.
โLook at the handwriting and the signature. If itโs not you, then who else could it be?!โ
Kieran, with his hand on Roschelleโs slender shoulder, stared at Alarieka with cold eyes.
Clarissaโs face twisted with mockery as she read every single word of the love letter out loud.
โKier, Iโve been watching you from behind all this time. Can you turn and look at me?โ
As Alarieka listened to Clarissaโs voice, she clenched her fists tighter and tighter.
She recognized the words. She had written that letter before her rebirth. Back then, she still had unrealistic fantasies about Kieran.
But she had always hidden the love letter well. There was no way she could have stuffed it into Kieranโs room.
So, there was only one possibility.
Someone else had stolen it and placed it in Kieranโs room.
It could either be Clarissa or Roschelle.
โEnough,โ Kieranโs voice was low and hoarse, filled with anger. He snapped with a cold and stern expression, โI donโt want to hear it anymore.โ
With a sneer, Clarissa closed her mouth and stuffed the love letter into Alariekaโs arms with disgust.
Even though Alarieka had been reborn, she couldnโt remain indifferent to Kieranโs gaze. She only felt a chill all over.
Kieran said in a questioning tone, โAlarieka, youโd better give me a reasonable explanation.โ
Roschelle suddenly tugged at Kieranโs arm and said softly, โMs. Huston is just a child. Kier, donโt take it to heart or get angry.โ
Roschelle looked at Alarieka with a bit of sympathy. โBut she really needs to be disciplined to focus on studying and stop daydreaming.โ
Kieran looked at her coldly. โAlarieka, Iโve already told you not to put your dirty thoughts on me. Donโt push your luck.โ
Alarieka took a deep breath. โI didnโt put the love letter in your room. It was someone else.โ
Clarissa sneered, โSomeone else? No one else would be as shameless as you to do such a thing, trying to break up Kieran and Rose.โ
Alarieka ignored Clarissaโs words.
She looked straight into Kieranโs indifferent eyes. โKieran, I was wrong. I should have formally talked to you to avoid misunderstandings in the future.โ
Kieranโs gaze remained unchanged, as cold as ever.
Alarieka said seriously, โNow I formally tell you, I donโt like you anymore.โ
Kieranโs fingers, resting on Roschelleโs shoulder, suddenly twitched.
Stunned, Roschelle looked up at Kieranโs expression.
When she saw that Kieran fixed his eyes on Alarieka, her heart skipped a beat.
Alarieka went on, โI was mistaken before. I had feelings for the wrong person. I was blind to see you in that way. I realize my mistake and Iโm going to change. From now on, Iโll never have those inappropriate thoughts again. I promise to keep my distance and wonโt offend you anymore.โ
After personally admitting that her thoughts were disgusting, Alarieka felt a weight lift off her mind.
Staring into Kieranโs eyes for a long time, Alarieka picked up the love letter that she had almost forgotten about.
Right in front of Kieran, she tore it to shreds with her own hands.
Kieran was trying to stop her from saying what she was about to say. โAlarieka.โ
โOne last thing, Kieran. From now on, I will draw a clear line between us.โ
With that, she bent down toward Kieran.
She missed the fleeting surprise in Kieranโs eyes. He quickly hid it, pursing his lips and frowning.
As Alarieka straightened up, she suddenly noticed that Roschelle and Clarissa had left.
