Chapter 21
Alaricka took a deep breath. โIโll order takeout.โ
Kieran suddenly walked towards the kitchen. โIโll make some pasta.โ
Alaricka looked up at Kieranโs back abruptly, showing a complicated expression.
Kieran never cooked for her.
It wasnโt because he couldnโt cook, but because Kieran only cooked for Roschelle.
She once saw the dishes Kieran made. They looked very delicious. His cooking skills were as good as a chefโs.
Soon, she knew why Kieran wanted to cook tonight.
Roschelleโs gentle smile disappeared when she saw Alaricka. Her voice barely lost control. โMs. Huston, why are you here?โ
Alaricka stepped aside to let Roschelle in. โYou should ask Kieran.โ
Kieran came out of the kitchen with a plate of pasta, and there was already a plate on the table.
Two pastas were just enough for two people.
Roschelle took her slippers from the shoe closet naturally and put them on. She walked to Kieran, softly helping him take off his apron, and took the pasta from his hand, placing it on the table.
โItโs my favorite pasta. Kier, youโre still such a good cook.โ
Alaricka understood the situation. Kieran didnโt say the pasta was for her.
It was for Roschelle.
She was really overthinking things.
Roschelle finished speaking, ate some pasta, and slowly smiled. โItโs delicious.โ
Before Kieran could say anything, Roschelle bit her lip and said in embarrassment. โOh, I forgot Ms. Huston. Have you had dinner?โ
She looked at the two plates of pasta with an embarrassed expression. โThere are only two pastas here for me and Kier. What about Ms. Huston?โ
Alaricka coldly watched Roschelleโs acting, and as soon as she was about to speak, she was interrupted by Kieran.
โIโll have someone take her back.โ
Just like before, Kieran chose Roschelle without hesitation.
Alaricka clearly saw Roschelleโs lips curled. Roschelle pretended to worry about her. โItโs so late. Will Ms. Huston be in danger going back now?โ
Kieran responded without thinking, โNo.โ
Roschelle finally laughed happily. โMs. Huston, sorry to cause you trouble. Iโm staying here tonight, so itโs not convenient to see you off downstairs.โ
As she spoke, Kieran looked at Alaricka.
Alarickaโs face was calm, without any trace of resistance or sadness, just calmly accepting the arrangement of these two people.
Kieran slightly furrowed his brows.
After a moment, his brows relaxed.
Between Alaricka and Roschelle, he knew what to choose.
Alaricka expected his choice early.
Whether in her previous life or now, between her and Roschelle, Kieran would only choose Roschelle.
He never cared about others.
Alaricka thought it was good. She didnโt want to stay here any longer. She just wanted to leave as soon as possible.
She quickly changed her shoes and said, โIโll go downstairs by myself. You guys donโt need to see me off.โ
Alaricka quickly closed the door and left.
After a while, Kieran suddenly strode over, grabbed the key, and said, โIโll see her off. You eat first.โ
Roschelle was startled. โKier?โ
Kieranโs hand was on the doorknob. โIโll be right back.โ
Roschelle held back her anxiety and smiled. โOkay, Iโll wait for you.โ
Alaricka just got into the car when Kieran came.
She quickly locked the car door and opened the car window.
โMr. Argent, you should go back and spend time with your girlfriend. You really donโt need to see me off.โ
Kieranโs eyebrows twitched slightly. โAlaricka.โ
Alaricka looked at the driver. โLetโs go. We shouldnโt get in the way of Mr. Argentโs romantic evening.โ
Alaricka was back at the Argentโs villa. Perhaps because Kieran, Clarissa, and Roschelle were not here, she had a happy dinner.
