Chapter 327

Alaricka exploded, fists pounding his chest, legs thrashing wildly.

โ€œKieran! Kieran! Let me go! Put me down!โ€

Panic surged as he carried her toward the exit. She redoubled her efforts, striking him with unrestrained fury.

The crisp sound of the cane clattering onto the coffee table went unnoticed by anyone.

Alaricka raised her fist, pounding heavily on Kieranโ€™s chest again and again. โ€œKieran! Let go of me!โ€

Kieranโ€™s arms encircled her waist and legs like unshakable pillars. No matter how Alaricka struggled or hit him, they didnโ€™t budge an inch.

Kieran strode forward steadily, his jawline hardening, dark eyes deepening.

Alaricka glared at Kieran. Soon her own fists ached from pounding, yet Kieran showed no reaction.

She knew her own strength, could clearly hear the dull thuds of her fists against his chest.

She sneered: โ€œYou sure can take it.โ€

Kieran reached the doorway without pausing, tilting his head down to look at Alaricka.

Suddenly, Kieran chuckled.

Alaricka frowned: โ€œYouโ€™ve truly lost it.โ€

Kieran didnโ€™t explain how her usually calm eyes now blazed with anger because of him, finding that faintly amusing.

But only faintly.

Behind them, Tamika came running, shouting: โ€œKieran, whatโ€™re you doing? Iโ€™ll call the police! Let them settle this!โ€

Alaricka demanded: โ€œWhere are you taking me? What do you want?โ€

Kieran kept striding forward, voice low and steady: โ€œI want you to explain yourself clearly.โ€

Next, Alaricka saw Kieran stepping through the doorway. Quick as lightning, she grabbed the doorframe with both hands.

Kieran had to stop.

Alaricka drew a sharp breath: โ€œKieran, release me now or Iโ€™ll scream. This buildingโ€™s thin walls mean neighbors hear everything. My scream would echo through every floor, maybe even reach next door.โ€

Kieran watched her silently.

Alaricka said coolly: โ€œThink hard. If I scream, youโ€™ll be humiliated. The great CEOโ€™s reputation ruined.โ€

Alaricka gripped the doorframe, slender neck arched defiantly, eyes stubborn.

Kieranโ€™s gaze slowly drifted from her face to her neck.

Her pale, delicate neck looked easily breakable by one hand.

Kieranโ€™s eyes darkened.

Held against him, Alaricka couldnโ€™t miss his shifting focus. She hissed angrily: โ€œKieran, speak!โ€

Kieran suddenly smiled, tightening his grip.

โ€œAlaricka, you never learn. Need another lesson?โ€

Alaricka met his gaze coldly: โ€œIโ€™m only gentle with those I care about. Youโ€™re nobody to me.โ€

Her measured words sliced between them like divine judgment, leaving no room for ambiguity.

That very clarity deepened the darkness in Kieranโ€™s eyes, a thin anger surfacing.

โ€œRemember Iโ€™m your brother?โ€

Brother?

Alaricka sneered.

Kieran Argent actually dares mention her brother to her?

Does he really think sheโ€™s some clueless fool?

Alaricka Huston stared at Kieran Argent with icy contempt, speaking bluntly: โ€œWhat brother? My parents only have me. I have no siblings. Donโ€™t mistake me for someone else, Mr. Argent.โ€

Kieran narrowed his eyes: โ€œWhat did you say?โ€

Alaricka continued, her gaze sharp as blades, showing no mercy.

โ€œOr perhaps, Mr. Argent sees me as a sister?โ€

Alaricka scoffed, โ€œBeing your sister must be terrible. Iโ€™ve never seen a brother mobilize so many marketing accounts just to smear his sister. Iโ€™ve never seen a brother torment his sister. Iโ€™ve never seen a brother as heartless as you.โ€

โ€œLet me ask you, Mr. Argentโ€”is this how you treat all your relatives? Or do you take me for a fool?โ€

Alaricka let out a light scoff: โ€œIf this is how you treat sisters, I beg you to spare me. Find someone else to play sister, alright?โ€

Kieran said ambiguously: โ€œSince when did you become so sharp-tongued?โ€

Alaricka tugged her lips: โ€œThatโ€™s why I say Mr. Argent and I arenโ€™t cut from the same cloth. Please release me.โ€
