All of Kieran’s attention and concern went to Roschelle and her son, and he really didn’t have any energy left to notice that, over there, Nina was already slowly losing her vitality.

Her real mom ran away when she was little because her dad abused her mom. Jaylene was raised by her grandma, Lorelai Cowan. Her family was poor, and she started working early. If her grandma hadn’t stopped her, she might’ve dropped out of middle school to work. She didn’t want to take exams week because her grandma was old, couldn’t do much work, and couldn’t make much money, so she decided to get her high school diploma and then work to support her grandma.
In the previous life, Jaylene was a tech big shot, so of course a lot of people knew she had a health problem–it was her stomach. There were always tons of people trying to please her, getting big breakfasts ready and bringing them to her. To save money, she got sick from skipping breakfast for years. Not even close.” All my classmates were watching the show, and the sound of laughter kept coming and going in the classroom. Alarieka didn’t feel embarrassed either. She calmly put away the milk and bread and quietly asked her, “So what do you want to eat tomorrow?”
Jaylene shuddered all over, looking disgusted and stared at her weirdly: “Alarieka, what’s wrong with you? Are you out of your mind or something?”
“You weren’t secretly in love with me, were you?” Alarieka stubbornly looked at her. Jaylene awkwardly pursed her lips, looked away, and muttered, “Alarieka was probably crazy, just ignore her.”
Alarieka didn’t think a breakfast could buy off Jaylene. So she was already secretly thinking in class about what to use next to please Jaylene. After class, actually, a lot of people were hanging out at the classroom door to watch the show. They all wanted to see what would happen when Alarieka moved to regular classes. But they just happened to run into Jaylene. Jaylene stood at the classroom door with her little sidekick and bossed around, saying, “What are you looking at?” Classmates from the same school had already seen how powerful Jaylene was in a fight, so when Jaylene shouted, everyone scattered. Alarieka walked up behind Jaylene, looking a little spaced out. Before, Jaylene also stood in front of her like that and yelled at those people who trampled on her. It’s just that before, Jaylene wore really fancy and expensive clothes, not like now when she’s wearing a school uniform that’s been washed so much it’s faded. She walked over to Jaylene and quietly said the thanks she hadn’t had a chance to say before.
