Chapter 81

Kieran lifted his eyelids and looked straight at Alaricka without hiding it, the smile at the corner of his mouth cold.

“No, I think I already got it.”

Calvin looked Kieran up and down and got even more confused: “Caught it? Where?”

Kieran didn’t say anything else and just walked over to Alaricka.

Alarm bells went off in Alaricka’s head, and she blocked Jaylene behind her.

Kieran said coldly, “You left the Argent family and ended up like this? Things got so bad you had to sell yourself?”

Kieran didn’t hold back, his words were sharp and sarcastic, stabbing right at Alaricka’s heart, harsh and cutting.

“You should’ve told me earlier if you wanted to sell, just tell me, I’ll buy from you.”

Kieran’s eyes vaguely landed on Jaylene behind her: “Still came together?”

Alaricka turned pale and looked up, staring at Kieran.

Kieran came, so it was even harder for her to get Jaylene out safely.

Calvin was totally confused and also scared. “Mr. Argent, do you know her?”

Did he accidentally mess with Kieran’s girl?

It shouldn’t have been like that.

Wasn’t Kieran only into her cousin Roschelle, and never had any other women around?

Calvin’s heart suddenly sank.

They were just halfway through running when Calvin yelled from behind, “Stop them for me!”

Alaricka suddenly stopped walking, not because Calvin’s people suddenly blocked her.

It was Kieran’s assistant who had been standing outside the door and heard the noise inside, came in quickly with some people, and blocked the doorway.

The assistant didn’t look at Alaricka’s eyes, clasped their hands in front, and lowered their head, saying, “Ms. Huston, Mr. Argent hasn’t allowed you to leave yet.”

Alaricka turned her head and glared at Kieran: “What do you—”

Kieran held a wine glass in his hand, turned his wrist, and the red wine swirled in the glass.

He slowly looked up, his dark eyes cold and uncovered, his voice chilly: “You were pretty bold, even dared to hit someone with a bottle.”

Alaricka’s fingers curled a bit, and she said coldly, “This girl was only working part-time here. Calvin forced her to come in. If you had any conscience, you wouldn’t stop me.”

Jaylene’s eyes were red, and there was some suspicion in her eyes: “Alaricka, did you know them?”

Alaricka pressed her lips together and looked at him coldly, “So what if I did?”

Calvin walked over with a stern face, glared at Alaricka, and grinned wickedly: “So you’re Alaricka?”

“Want to play the hero? You should see if you’ve got what it takes. You’re not leaving today either!”

Alaricka felt a jolt in her heart and immediately planned to grab the person and rush out without caring about anything.

Calvin took a quick step forward and grabbed her wrist.

“Mr. Argent, Alaricka hit me, you can’t just let her go.”

Calvin just quoted Roschelle, “And both of these women were lying. Jaylene came in on purpose to seduce me. I didn’t pull her in at all. I didn’t force her.”

Jaylene’s eyes got even redder: “Calvin, you’re such a beast, you totally forced me!”

Kieran wasn’t moved.

Even when the assistant looked at Kieran several times, Kieran didn’t respond at all.
