Chapter 332 + 25 Bonus

Michaelโ€™s senses immediately went on high alert as the car deviated from its intended route. The driver replied in a low voice, โ€œMs. Frazier, thereโ€™s no need for concern. Our master simply wishes to see you. Thereโ€™s no ill intent.โ€

โ€œYour master?โ€ Debraโ€™s mind raced. She didnโ€™t know many people in Seamar City, and only a handful could know her itinerary and replace her driver.

While lost in thought, Michael pulled out a small knife hidden in her sleeve. Debra quickly grabbed his hand. Michael frowned, his eyes filled with concern and a silent question. Debra subtly shook her head. The driver didnโ€™t seem to harbor any malicious intent. If they wanted to harm her, they could have done so without such elaborate measures. Since they wanted to see her, it meant they had something to say. The long night stretched ahead, and Debra decided to meet this mysterious man.

The car soon pulled up to a familiar location. As Debraโ€™s eyes landed on the house's sign, she realized the person wanting to meet her was Andrew.

โ€œWhereโ€™s the knife?โ€ Debra suddenly asked. Michael was confused. She explained, โ€œI donโ€™t want to meet him.โ€

Though her interactions with Andrew had been limited, she knew his character. He was an unscrupulous person she could never quite read. Each time she saw him, she was reminded of the chilling incident when he had ordered someone thrown from the second floor. The memory sent a shiver down her spine.

โ€œIโ€™ll take you away,โ€ Michael said. But as he stepped out of the car, two security guards subdued him. โ€œSorry, Mr. Austin. Our master wants to meet Ms. Frazier alone.โ€

Michael was furious, but he knew he couldnโ€™t overcome so many people and take Debra away. Debra rubbed her temples, knowing she had no choice but to meet Andrew. She turned to the butler. โ€œIโ€™ll go with you, but you mustnโ€™t touch my people.โ€

The butler offered a polite, reassuring smile. โ€œMs. Frazier, donโ€™t worry. Mr. Austin is a guest. Weโ€™ll treat him well. Our master just wants to have a few words with you. You donโ€™t need to be afraid. Once the conversation is over, weโ€™ll send both you and Mr. Austin back.โ€

Debra braced herself for the upcoming meeting, but the thought of facing Andrew still made her skin crawl. The Potter Mansion looked the same as it had during her last visit, when she had celebrated Jordanโ€™s birthday. Though she occasionally kept in touch with Jordan, he had been unpredictable lately, often disappearing without a word. She hadnโ€™t thought much of it until now.

As they walked, Debra asked the butler, โ€œWhereโ€™s Jordan? Why isnโ€™t he home?โ€

The butler replied, โ€œMr. Jordan Potter went abroad a few months ago and hasnโ€™t returned.โ€

โ€œAbroad?โ€ Debra echoed, her steps faltering slightly. She hadnโ€™t known about this. Jordan had never mentioned going abroad to her.

The butler led Debra upstairs, and she soon found herself standing before Andrew, who was in a wheelchair. Andrew was sitting in the same spot on the rooftop, his back turned to her.

Debra walked over and asked, โ€œMr. Andrew Potter, you wanted to see me?โ€

Andrew slightly raised his hand, and the butler brought over a chair, placing it next to him. At Andrewโ€™s gesture, Debra stiffly sat down, subconsciously trying to put as much distance between them as possible.
