Debra probed, “Mr. Andrew Potter, why are you helping me get a divorce? Is it because of Jordan?”

Andrew set down his teacup and looked at Debra. Though not intense, his gaze made her instinctively lower her head, a slight flush creeping onto her cheeks. She avoided direct eye contact, feeling suddenly shy.

“Will you sign or not?” Andrew asked, pretending to pull back the contract.

“Yes, how could I miss such a great deal?” She quickly signed her name, fearing Andrew might change his mind.

Seeing her eager reaction, Andrew flashed a faint smile. But when Debra looked up, his smile had already vanished.

“I’ll have someone discuss the specific details with you later.”

“Sure.”
