Chapter 360
Stanleyโs face flushed a deep red. โYouโre talking nonsense.โ
โAm I?โ Debra said, turning to Rosalie. โWhat do you think? Ralph was your husband, and I presume you know about his doings.โ
Rosalie was stunned. She hadnโt known about Ralphโs gambling, but Debraโs words stirred old suspicions. She wondered if Ralph was really addicted to gambling.
Unwilling to give up, Stanley interjected, โEven if he did gamble, it was just a little money. Our family raised you for so many years.โ
Debra slammed the glass onto the table, the sound echoing through the room like a gunshot. โDonโt you know what kind of life I had in your house?โ
In her past life, she had arrived at Ralphโs house with her familyโs inheritance, only to be met with resentment and mistreatment. Rosalie had always viewed her as a burden, a sentiment Debra had endured silently for years. Ralph hadnโt intervened, and Debra had understood that he was busy with the company and fond of Rosalie. But now, it seemed that Ralph had been aware of Rosalieโs harsh treatment. He had simply chosen to let it continue.
Stanley lost his momentum, but Rosalie stood her ground. โNo matter what, Ralph is your only family left in this world. How can you be so cruel to him? Youโre heartless.โ
โOh yeah?โ Debra snorted. โWell, this heartless woman is kicking you out of the house. Youโll have to bear with it.โ
As if on cue, the police arrived.
โMs. Frazier, weโre here to help you with the situation.โ
โTheyโre right here. Take them away.โ
โSure.โ
โLet go! I am Ralph Frazierโs wife. How dare you touch me?โ Rosalie growled.
Debra interjected deliberately, putting the last nail in Rosalieโs coffin. โYou and Ralph are already divorced. Ralph is no longer in charge. You have no connection to the Frazier family anymore.โ
โThis isnโt over, you wicked woman. We will not let you off the hook,โ Rosalie snarled as she was dragged away by the police.
Stanley, who had been in prison before, was terrified by the sight of the police and dared not move. Soon, they were both taken away.
The commotion subsided. Debra glanced at her phone, which was buzzing incessantly with notifications. She saw that the topic of her live stream had shot up the trending list, with numerous screenshots and recordings posted online.
Michaelโs name flashed on her screen, and she answered the call.
Chapter 360
โSeen the news?โ
โJust did.โ
โInterested?โ
โHuh?โ
โEntering showbiz.โ
Debra moved her phone aside, her eyes scanning the trending topics. She saw that the top trending topic was #DebraDebut, alongside #FrazierBankrupt.
Due to Ralphโs scandal, the companyโs stocks plummeted that very day. Now, the Frazier Group was practically defunct. The one-billion-dollar deficit on the books had been slightly covered by the McKinney Groupโs funds, but it was a drop in the bucket. Ralph had embezzled too much money, and despite halting many projects, the losses were still significant.
