Chapter 644
Andrew and Marion had been holed up in the island villa, discussing their strategy.
โIโm leaving,โ Marion said.
Andrew frowned. โYou donโt even know where she is. What good will it do to leave now?โ
Just then, Randy burst through the door. โSheโs alive.โ
His words attracted immediate attention. Marion immediately stood up. โWhat do you mean?โ
โCheck the news. Havenโt you been following it? Debra just posted on social media,โ Randy quickly replied, placing his phone in front of them.
The butler searched for the relevant news and placed the phone in front of Andrew. โSir, take a look.โ
The post read, โ[All is well. The gunshots were just for show. Iโve been down with a high fever, so Iโve been out of it for a bit. Thanks for the concern, but Iโm alive and kicking.]โ
Attached was a selfie of Debra. Though it was just a selfie, in the background, they could faintly see a dining table and the dรฉcor behind her.
โItโs a cruise ship,โ Andrew said, recognizing the surroundings.
โThe key thing is that Debra is still alive,โ Randy said. โThatโs her message to us.โ
โNo, somethingโs off,โ Marion said, frowning deeply. Debra had been captured by Drake. There was no way he would allow her to post on social media. Debra must have convinced Drake somehow. This wasnโt just a simple message.
โWhat did you figure out?โ Randy asked.
โItโs the location,โ Marion said, grabbing Randyโs arm. โThe location.โ
โThe location?โ
โSocial media usually has location tracking enabled. We need to find out where that photo was taken.โ
โRight. Why didnโt I think of that?โ Randy slapped his forehead. โGive me a laptop.โ
Andrew slid his laptop over. โUse mine.โ
Time ticked by. Dawn was breaking when Randy finally located the coordinates. He said excitedly, โItโs this stretch of ocean. Based on their course, theyโre heading back to Seamar City.โ
Andrew and Marion stared at the map. It showed the route of the ship based on the phoneโs GPS.
โDebra is clever,โ Andrew remarked. โShe turned on location services so we could track her. I estimate we have two days before they arrive in Seamar City.โ
โBook tickets,โ Marion said. โWeโll set up an ambush at the port.โ
Andrew turned to his butler. โGet the tickets.โ
โYes, sir.โ
As Randy finally let out a sigh of relief and began shutting down the computer, he noticed something peculiar in Debraโs post.
โWait a second,โ he muttered. โHer phoneโฆโ
Marion, always on high alert, asked, โWhat about her phone?โ
โThe phone modelโฆโ
No one had paid attention to it earlier, but Debraโs post displayed her phoneโs model at the bottom.
โDSP,โ Randy read out the letters. He had never heard of such a model.
