Debra turned to the bodyguards. “Melody Nichols has confessed to hiring a hitman. Take her to the police.”
“Yes, ma’am.” The bodyguards moved swiftly, grabbing Melody by the arms.
She thrashed, her face contorted with rage and panic. “You can’t do this to me. I’m Juan’s grandmother. He’ll never forgive you.”

Debra snorted, “Oh, come on, the real Jade is still alive. Would you like to meet her?”
