Debra shook her head and added, “If you ask me, you should return to Orkgate as soon as possible. That’s where your foundation is. Your tactics won’t work here.”

With that, she turned to Ben and said, “Go get the car. Let our people escort the bosses to the Potter Mansion. Mr. Andrew Potter has arranged a banquet to welcome everyone.”

“Yes, ma’am.” Ben sprang into action.

Soon, only Drake and Kale were left in the vast banquet hall.

Drake ripped off his tie. “Go find Fermin. If he doesn’t show up by midnight, there will be a price to pay.”

To pacify him, Kale quickly responded, “I’ll get it done right away.”

After Kale left, Drake kicked over a nearby chair. Edgar emerged from the shadows with a sneer. “Never seen you so desperate before.”

Drake was further annoyed, not expecting Edgar to show up again after the last dismissal. “We’ve both been played by Debra,” Edgar said. “If you had lent me the money back then, I could have regained control. But it’s not too late now. If you lend me $30 billion now, the Odom family will support you wholeheartedly.”

If he couldn’t repay that debt, he would have to hand over the Odom Group to Debra. If that happened, he would have nothing left.

All his hopes now rested on Drake. Edgar thought Drake would surely help him this time, but to his surprise, Drake suddenly took off his suit.

Edgar wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and glared at Drake. “How dare you hit me?”

“You’ll regret this! You’ll be finished by Debra and Marion,” Edgar spat before walking away.

Drake shouted, “Someone, come here.”

“Boss…” A few of his subordinates approached cautiously.

Drake rarely got this angry, but when he did, someone was sure to suffer the consequences.

Seeing them keeping their distance, Drake glared at them. “Why are you standing so far away?”

“Sorry, boss.” They stepped closer.

Drake grabbed one of them and spluttered, “Gather our men! We’re going to the Potter Mansion to crash their party.”
