Chapter 861

When Debra reached the laboratory, she saw Marion working on the latest antagonist.

“I have good news. Want to hear it?” she said.

Marion paused and turned to see Debra standing at the door. Ever since her last visit to the lab, he had been adamant about not letting her enter without proper protection. He walked over to her, removed the protective gear, and tapped her head.

“It’s dangerous here. If you miss me, just call me over.”

“Andrew just told me some good news. Finally, someone can stop spending 24 hours a day in the lab.”

Marion quickly caught on to her meaning. He picked her up and spun her around excitedly.

“You’ll get through this, right?”

“Yes. Put me down first.”

She tapped Marion’s shoulder, signaling him to put her down. As he did, he dropped a kiss on her forehead and took her hand, leading her out of the mansion.

“Where are we going?” Debra asked, confused.

Andrew watched calmly from the second-floor window as Marion and Debra ran out together, but Randy jumped up.

“What is Marion doing? If they’re seen holding hands like this, it could cause trouble.”

Andrew instructed Barton, “Get a car for them.”

“Yes, sir.” Barton sprang into action.

Erica asked, “Where is he taking Debra?”

Randy echoed, “Marion used to tell me everything, but now I have no idea what he’s up to.”

Andrew smiled, “Follow them and find out.”

Still with questions in their minds, Randy and Erica adopted the plan.

Debra saw they were heading towards the outskirts and asked, “Don’t tell me you’re taking me on a countryside drive now.”

“Isn’t it nice?” Marion replied while driving. “You’ve been cooped up inside all this time.”

It was true. The atmosphere inside the house had been tense, and she indeed needed some fresh air.

Chapter 861

Randy drove cautiously, keeping a safe distance to avoid being detected.

Erica patted him, urging, “If you drive so slowly, we’ll lose them. Can you do it or not?”

“I can handle it, but Marion is perceptive. I’m doing this to avoid being spotted. Our Rolls-Royce is too conspicuous,” he grumbled, nervously eyeing the road ahead.

Erica wondered aloud, “But why is Marion driving towards the countryside in broad daylight?”

“Who knows what’s going on in his mind? Darn it, we lost them,” Randy exclaimed, slamming on the brakes and pulling over to the side of the road.
