“You see these three dice? If the total points rolled are 11 or above, it’s Big. If it’s ten or below, it’s Small.”

“That simple, huh?” Debra turned to Marion. “Honey, what do you think? Big or small?”

Marion grabbed some chips and handed them to Debra. “Your choice.”

“Well, I’ll go with Big.” Debra placed the chips on Big.

The staff signaled the dealer, who understood the cue. When the dice were revealed, it was indeed Big. Those who had bet on Big cheered as they won their money. Debra handed the winning chips to Marion, but he gave her some more. “Pick again.”

Pretending to be thrilled by her beginner’s luck, Debra eagerly placed the chips on Big again. “I’ll stick with Big.”
