Cathryn quickly intervened. “Mr. Lowe is right. Let’s have her escorted home tonight.” “But…” Liza started to protest. “Didn’t you say you wanted to go shopping today? I’ll go with you. By the time we return, Mrs. Houston will be gone,” Cathryn suggested.

Liza relented, albeit reluctantly. “Fine, for your sake, I won’t argue with her. Otherwise, I’d kick her out right now.” Cathryn forced a smile. Drake lowered his voice. “Go upstairs. Do you need me to escort you?”

“Alright, since no one wants me here,” Debra said, adjusting the blanket around her. She turned and gave Liza a provocative look. Liza’s anger flared again. “What do you mean by that? Explain yourself. You…” “Liza, it’s alright,” Cathryn advised.

“You’re so arrogant in my house. I’ll tell my dad to teach you a lesson,” Liza growled. Debra was happy to hear that Liza was going to involve Bert.
