Watching the video of Grace kneeling, Lily smirked unknowingly. “Some people want to die, and others can’t stop them,” she said.

“Isn’t that the truth?” the assistant replied. “This extra seems to have offended Evelyn, which explains why she’s always being picked on. Everyone on the film crew knows Evelyn can’t be offended…” The assistant trailed off, realizing she’d said too much.

She paled and said to Lily, “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said that. Evelyn’s just flaunting her power because she’s Master Hart’s girlfriend. Once he dumps her, she won’t even be qualified to be a fifth female lead!”

Lily calmly said, “All right, you don’t have to tell me that.”

Evelyn hadn’t been pleasant since Lily joined the crew. Every encounter ended in an argument. Lily knew Evelyn was trying to compensate for past grievances. She didn't take Evelyn seriously. Lily came from a modest background but had been fortunate enough to attract Brian's attention. However, high society knew Brian's girlfriends rarely lasted long. No one knew how many months Evelyn had left.

The more arrogant Evelyn was now, the more she would suffer later.

“The one with a death wish isn’t the extra,” Lily said with interest.

The assistant was surprised. Not the extra? Was Lily talking about… Evelyn? But Evelyn was just harassing a minor extra. What could this extra possibly have that Evelyn wanted?

Evelyn was backed by the crown prince of the entertainment industry!

Lily didn't explain. She simply rewatched the video her assistant had recorded. She enjoyed such videos. She disliked both Grace and Evelyn, and their conflict was entertaining. She just wondered what Jason would do about Evelyn. Perhaps, before Brian and Evelyn broke up, Jason would destroy her. The thought relaxed Lily.

After all, Jason never played by the rules. Even though he was her sister's fiancé, she was still intimidated by him. He was unpredictable, capable of shifting from charming to terrifying in an instant. He could easily alter the fates of others. Even the wealthy Atkinson family wouldn't dare offend him.

She wondered how long Jason's interest in Grace would last.

Thinking this, Lily stood and said, “All right, let’s go have a look. It would be a shame to miss it.”

She left the lounge.
