Upon hearing that, Hera shifted her focus and went to see Helena, accompanied by Nash and Skadi.

Helena was lounging in Hera's office chair in the general manager's office, idly playing with her seven-hundred-thousand-dollar diamond ring and spinning in the chair. A playful smile touched her lips as she heard footsteps outside.

Hera entered the office and calmly asked, "You wanted to see me?"

Helena didn't immediately respond, instead looking at Nash, impeccably dressed in a tailored suit. His transformation was striking; his charisma and appearance now rivaled Kai's, a fact that sparked a flicker of jealousy in Helena's eyes. "I didn't expect a useless person like you to look even remotely presentable in a suit..." she sneered.

Nash's gaze grew cold. "Watch your tongue. Yesterday, I overlooked your insolence because of our engagement, but that's changed. I won't hesitate to teach you a lesson on behalf of Mr. Lewis if you continue this behavior!" Unlike Hera, he wouldn't tolerate her insults. This was a warning; next time wouldn't be so lenient.

Helena slammed her hand on the desk, fury rising, but then remembered her father's words from the previous night. The assassins were clearly not Skadi's doing; both Hera and Nash had appeared simultaneously yesterday, strongly suggesting Nash was responsible for eliminating them.

Seeing Helena's outburst, Skadi sneered. "Ms. Helena, this isn't Rococo. Your arrogance won't be tolerated here..." She cracked her knuckles, the sound sharp and unsettling.

Emboldened, Hera stepped forward. "Please vacate my seat."

Helena met Hera's gaze, cold and unwavering. Years of past trauma made Hera's heart tremble under Helena's chilling stare. Yet, the thought of Helena interfering with her business ignited a strong, assertive counter-aura. The cousins locked eyes, neither yielding. Nash remained aloof, casually crossing his legs, showing no intention of intervening. Hera, previously timid due to her lack of family standing, understood that she needed to toughen up to survive in the business world.

After a tense thirty seconds, Helena stood. With Nash and Skadi present, she decided against pushing her luck. Having ruined her engagement with Nash, her grandfather's attention would likely shift to Hera. In Helena's eyes, Hera was merely a dependent.

Hera settled into her chair, calmly observing Helena. "If you have something to say, say it. Otherwise, don't interrupt my work."

Helena subtly composed herself, a faint smile playing on her heavily made-up face. "Hera, Yates Group has canceled their collaboration with Baroque. Your profits next month will likely be in the red, won't they?" She, through her boyfriend, had orchestrated the cancellation. Mr. Yates, to the eldest son of Jonford's wealthiest family, was insignificant. Her goal was to witness her cousin's despair.

"You're unfit for business. You might as well change careers! Since you took over Baroque, profits have declined yearly. Grandpa's already in poor health; if this continues, your family will drive him to his grave!"

Helena's barbs struck home, leaving Hera trembling with anger. Just as Hera felt defeated, her phone vibrated—a message from her mother. Taking a deep breath, Hera looked up. "Baroque doesn't rely solely on Yates Group. Losing them is regrettable, but we'll secure new clients!"

"New clients? Baroque's technology is outdated. Besides a few car and phone companies clinging to old products, who else needs your family's chips?" Helena's smile widened.

Hera's lips curved into a slight smile. "Don't worry, dear cousin. Drake Group has placed an order for a batch of car chips."

This was a client her mother secured through the Mare family's connections. While not yet finalized, it offered hope.

"Drake Group? Your uncle works there! Lauren must have begged the Mare family for this, right? But don't get too excited! Kai has close ties to Drake Group's eldest son!"

Helena sashayed toward the door. The implication was clear: the Drake Group collaboration was doomed.

"Helena..." Hera stood, eyes red and trembling, fear, anger, and helplessness warring within. Her mother had been ostracized from the Mare family; this collaboration represented immense sacrifice. Helena's interference threatened to undo everything.

Helena paused at the door, turning back with a smile. "Anything else, dear cousin?"

Hera, speechless, could only tremble. Helena, sensing victory, calmly said, "Want that Drake Group collaboration? Kneel and beg me..."

Skadi exploded. "Helena Lewis, you've gone too far!" Enraged by Helena's demand, she lunged forward. "Get lost!"

Suddenly, a young man with silver hair, a white suit, and oversized sunglasses burst through the door, slamming it into Skadi. Skadi's fist shattered the door, but her shoulder dislocated. Albino, one of Kai's top ten enforcers, had struck. His single kick demonstrated power rivaling her grandfather's.

Pale and shaken, Hera rushed to Skadi's side. Skadi gritted her teeth, resetting her own dislocated shoulder, her gaze unwavering. With Nash present, she held onto hope for his intervention.

Helena's face lit up at Skadi's injury. Had she known Albino's capabilities, she wouldn't have given Hera any leeway.

"Changed your mind, cousin? Kneel and beg, and I won't interfere with Baroque and Drake Group!"
