Listen to this chapter:

Divine Needles… Brian had only heard of them from his master, who in turn had learned of them from his own master. His master, after twenty years studying medicine alongside his grandmaster, had witnessed their use only once—to revive a dead person. Brian never imagined he would see Divine Needles in his lifetime.

Nash waved his right hand over the needle bag, and all twenty-four golden needles lifted, suspended in the air by an invisible force. His palm flattened, and the snake-shaped needles rapidly rotated above it. Brian's heart pounded, his eyelids twitching, his throat burning. Even his master hadn't learned to control needles with inner energy, yet this young man had mastered it? Brian was certain: this was the grandmaster's descendant.

Nash manipulated the needles with his right hand, flicking his left finger. A golden needle, like a living serpent, swam towards Herman's chest, piercing the center and trembling slightly. He swiftly inserted all twenty-four needles, each vibrating with heat, stimulating trigger points. Cancer, notoriously difficult to cure, yielded only to the Divine Needling Technique. The needles, though gold in appearance, were of an unknown material, yet effectively killed cancer cells. Precision and control, however, were crucial, the needles varying in length for differing effects. Even with his exceptional talent, Nash had needed six years to master this intricate technique.

"Incredible! I never thought such a method existed!" Mr. Dean exclaimed, awestruck. While familiar with traditional medicine techniques, he'd never witnessed anything like this. Still, doubt lingered. Could a miracle cure for cancer truly exist, even one beyond even Doctor Tanner's capabilities? Success would undoubtedly send shockwaves through the medical community.

Hera's eyes, fixed on Nash, whispered, "He wasn't lying. He can cure Grandpa's illness…" Lauren, gripping Hera's arm, beamed. She hadn't misjudged Nash; their family's future was secure. Even Harrison, initially opposed to their marriage, gaped in awe. Nash's skill had deeply impressed Dean and Tanner; a successful cure would make him renowned. Meanwhile, Hubert and his wife, faces pale with sweat, anxiously watched, their clenched fists betraying their unease.

Minute by minute passed. The heart rate monitor showed increasing activity. After half an hour, the old man's heartbeat normalized, a hint of color returning to his face. Nash retrieved the needles. As he replaced them, the old man coughed up blood, flecked with tissue.

Hera's family paled with alarm. Hubert, however, breathed a sigh of relief, a cold smile playing on his lips.

"Nash! What did you do?!" the chubby woman shouted, enraged. She hadn't attended the family meeting, and the villa angered her.

"That blood contains dead cancer cells and tumor fragments. He needs rest. His accelerated cancer spread was caused by a biochemical agent!" Nash's sharp gaze fixed on Hubert.

"What… what do you mean?" Hubert's muscles tensed under Nash's scrutiny.

"You bastard, you suspect Hubert of poisoning his father?!" the woman shrieked.

Nash narrowed his eyes. "Watch your mouth."

Brian, turning to Lauren, asked, "Madam Mare, when did Mr. Lewis's condition worsen?"

"Around four or five this morning," she replied.

"Who cared for him last night?" Brian pressed.

"Hubert and his wife the first half, Harrison and I the second," Lauren stated coldly, implicating them.

Brian, a traditional medicine expert, addressed Hubert and his wife meaningfully. "The biochemical agent… it takes effect within four hours, spreading fully in five. Mr. Lewis was injected during the first half of the night!"

Harrison, enraged, punched Hubert. "Not only will I lay hands on you, but I will also kill you…" he roared.

Mr. Dean intervened. "Quiet! This is an ICU!"

Hera restrained her father. "Dad, please stop…"

Harrison glared at Hubert. "Explain yourself, or this isn't over…"

The door burst open. Helena entered with bodyguards. "Uncle, what explanation do you want?"
