Listen to this chapter:

Noelle watched Xenia squirm, a chilling smile playing on her lips. "Wasn't it you?" she sneered.

Xenia's eyes widened. Panic flared. "Noelle, how could you think that? I know you're angry, but this has nothing to do with me!" She appealed to Frank, but he only frowned.

Noelle's gaze was glacial. "Fine. Swear it. If you're lying, may you be struck by lightning, reduced to beggary!"

Xenia bit her lip. "Frank, I swear it wasn't me! An apology should be enough."

James stepped in. "Mr. Liddell, if she's innocent, a swear is meaningless. But her reluctance…suggests guilt."

Tears welled in Xenia's eyes, but Frank remained firm. "Xenia, just swear. Then I'll believe you."

Xenia was trapped. Noelle was surprised by Frank's insistence; he’d never been so hard on Xenia before. Everyone watched as Xenia, voice trembling, swore the oath. Noelle gave her a knowing look.

Frank turned to Noelle. "We need to investigate this fully. Thanks to you, the firewall's fixed."

"Just pay me," Noelle said, already heading back to her desk. "James, transfer the payment."

The office buzzed with whispers. "She's the real Liddell heiress! That other one's a fake!"

Xenia fled, humiliated. She had to silence Isaac. Noelle, her work finished, knocked on Bobby's door.
