Chapter 73
Logan was also quite focused on this matter. Over the years, they had invested heavily in the AI field, but their company lacked strong technology, resulting in stagnant development. In contrast, Cole, with the CUAP technology, could earn over a hundred million each year without even trying. How could they not be envious? If they could access CUAP's core technology and integrate it into their existing projects, their company would likely soar, achieving a market value of several billion dollars.
As they were considering this, Raven returned home. Seeing Logan and his sister, she greeted, "Dad, Aunt."
"Raven's back?" Logan immediately smiled, his affection and admiration for Raven evident.
Raven nodded. "Mm." She sat down and asked, "What are you talking about?"
"Still discussing CUAP," Logan said. "If you can't get in touch with Cole, what are your plans? Has President Matteo said anything?"
"He said he would help me contact Nolan."
Nolan was one of the top experts in the domestic AI field. He was reportedly highly valued by the government and maintained a secretive schedule, making him difficult to meet. Johnny was one of Nolan's few direct disciples, and CUAP was said to have been developed by Nolan. Since the route through Johnny hadn't worked, their only option was to try approaching Nolan directly.
"That's good," Logan said, smiling but still a little worried. "Johnny is Nolan's student. If he said anything bad about you to Nolan, could that be a problem?"
Logan smiled. "Brother, you don't know, but Nolan values talent above all else. Raven is a genius. If she gets the chance to meet Nolan, with her skills in AI, he will definitely recognize her, and he might even accept her as one of his direct disciples."
Logan asked, "Has President Matteo mentioned when you might meet Nolan?"
Raven took a sip of water and said indifferently, "Next week at the tech exhibition. It's said that Nolan will attend."
They all knew about the tech exhibition. However, their company lacked the status to secure a spot. But with Matteo's support—Logan and Lauren looked at Raven.
Raven said, "Matteo gave me two tickets, but only two."
"It's fine. It doesn't matter who goes with you, as long as you go." Lauren smiled. "Exactly."
Matteo had many commitments and was always busy. In the next couple of days, Matteo was away on business, leaving Isabella home alone and extremely bored. She couldn't help but call Freya again.
It had been two busy days, and the events of that day were already fading for Freya. When she saw the incoming call from Isabella, she answered.
Isabella: "Mom, when are you coming home?"
Upon hearing that Matteo wasn't home, Freya decided to return after finishing work that evening. After she got back, Isabella was very happy. She clung to her, sharing many interesting things from school, and mentioned a new game she had recently gotten into, eager to teach Freya how to play.
After finishing her homework, Isabella wanted to play whatever caught her interest. As long as it wasn't harmful to her health, Freya usually accompanied her, whether it was playing games or doing something else. After watching Isabella play twice, Freya joined her for a team game that lasted over an hour. Isabella was very happy that night. She even wanted Freya to sleep with her. Freya, who didn't want to sleep in the master bedroom, agreed.
On Thursday evening, after turning off the range hood, Freya was about to leave the kitchen with the dishes when she heard Isabella's voice from the living room.
"Dad, you're back!"
