Chapter 108
“Shirley, shut up,” Justin scolded.
Shirley retorted, “It’s the truth. If this bracelet is authentic, it must have been given to her by Mr. Bennett, and she’s just using it to show off. Mr. Bennett is from Betrico and might have connections with Miss Y, but Cynthia? What qualifications does she have? If she knows anyone from QUEEN, even a small designer, I’ll kneel to her.”
Cynthia remained silent, slowly taking out her phone and dialing a number. She activated the speakerphone so everyone could hear clearly. “Simon, I want to customize a set of jewelry in my godmother’s name, and I’d like Miss Y to design it.”
Everyone at the table was shocked. Who was Cynthia calling, and how could she request Miss Y specifically?
A brief pause followed, then a deep, pleasant, yet authoritative man’s voice answered. The voice was steady and melodious, conjuring the image of a refined, extraordinary-looking man.
Simon replied, “Sure, you’re so close with Miss Y. You could just ask her yourself for such a small matter.”
“Of course, I’ll talk to her, but I need you to make it public,” Cynthia said.
“QUEEN’s custom clients always appear on the global notice board. You can rest assured about that,” Simon added. “Send me your godmother’s initials, and I’ll get it done.”
Cynthia hung up, typed a message, and sent it.
Everyone was stunned, except Shirley, who looked disdainful.
“Anyone can find an actor to stage a scene, Cynthia. You don’t think we’d believe you were talking to someone high up at QUEEN, do you?” she sneered. “And you’re asking Miss Y for a custom design? You probably don’t even know that Miss Y only designs five pieces of jewelry per year, and she’s already released three this year. Princess Kate and Princess Tris of Enmeria have already commissioned pieces, publicly announced on QUEEN’s website. What makes you think Miss Y would break the rule for you? Besides, can you even afford jewelry designed by Miss Y?”
Shirley found it utterly ridiculous. Cynthia was overdoing her show of wealth. Did she really think they were ignorant of the design world? QUEEN had been established for three years, and each year Miss Y designed only five items: two for auction, one for public sale, and two for commission—no exceptions for three years. Therefore, Cynthia’s phone call seemed laughably fake.
Cynthia replied calmly, “You can log on to QUEEN’s global website.”
Shirley, with a dismissive attitude, took out her phone. “Cynthia, I really want to see what’s going on here,” she said as she logged onto QUEEN’s website.
The others followed suit. When they did, Pamela screamed and stood up.
“Why… why is my name on the announcement section?” she exclaimed.
Shirley was dumbfounded. On the homepage of QUEEN’s official website, a section displayed the names of QUEEN’s custom clients over the years, along with the jewelry pieces and designers. At the very top was Pamela’s name. The custom jewelry was named after her initials, “PY,” and it clearly stated that Miss Y would personally create it.
The announcement had been posted just one minute ago, obviously right after Cynthia’s call. Below it were the announcements for Princess Kate and Princess Tris of Enmeria. The three formed a prominent, independent section.

Chapter 108
Pamela, overwhelmed with emotion, trembled as she approached Cynthia, holding her phone. “Cynthia, is that really me?”
Cynthia smiled. “Of course it’s you, Pamela.”
Pamela’s eyes filled with tears. Although a wealthy wife, she held little standing outside Roncrity. High-end luxury products were usually unattainable, even with her wealth. The Yates family couldn't easily afford multi-million-dollar jewelry. But seeing her name on the world’s top luxury jewelry brand's website was indescribable—a mix of pride, disbelief, inflated vanity, and overwhelming gratitude.
More than 10,000 comments from around the world already populated the announcement, speculating about Pamela’s identity. Some even guessed she might be a queen.
Just then, Pamela’s phone rang. It was Mrs. Leach. Pamela answered immediately.
Mrs. Leach’s incredulous voice filled the phone. “Oh my goodness, the new client announcement from QUEEN’s website says Miss Y designed something for Pamela. Is that really you, or someone with the same name?”
Pamela, brimming with pride, replied, “How many people have the same name? That’s me! Oh, how fortunate! Thanks to Cynthia. I heard she’s friends with Miss Y. Cynthia is such a filial child. It’s her anniversary gift for me. I told her it was too much, but she insisted. It’s so precious, and she even got Miss Y to make an exception to her five-designs-per-year rule.” She continued, “She’s such a successful and thoughtful child. Alright, alright, I’ll arrange a gathering tomorrow. Let’s have a meal together. Remember to bring Anna, Alice, and Angelia with you.”
Pamela was absorbed in her conversation, while the others at the table had mixed reactions.
Filip stared at Cynthia with a complex expression, as if seeing her anew.
Selena’s expression was sour. Cynthia’s tone towards Pamela made Selena uncomfortable. The ease with which Cynthia gave such expensive gifts—both the bracelet and the custom jewelry—was enviable. After all, Selena had raised Cynthia, yet Cynthia now supported someone else. Selena was also surprised by Cynthia’s power and high-level connections at QUEEN.
Shirley, of course, had the darkest expression. “This can’t be true! Cynthia, what kind of trick are you playing?” she exclaimed.
Cynthia glanced at her calmly. “I may be able to deceive people, but can I manipulate QUEEN’s global website? If I could, wouldn’t you admit I’m even more powerful?”
Shirley’s expression changed, eventually turning ashen.
Watching her, Cynthia said lightly, “Come and kneel to me.”
