Chapter 363

As soon as she arrived at the venue, Aubree bumped into Dmytro. Although their company had reached a cooperation deal with Manchotech Group, Dmytro was still their main point of contact. Now that things were quieter on the third day, he finally had time to personally introduce her around.

Bowen, as chairman of the Turner Group and a well-known young tycoon, immediately attracted a swarm of people trying to connect with him as soon as he arrived with Aubree. Aubree decisively ditched her โ€œthird wheelโ€ and took the people from Bree Technology to work the room.

It had been a while since Dmytro had seen them, and he was clearly happy, shaking hands with each of them.

Dmytro said, โ€œTryfon is also here at the conference. The past couple of days have been too hectic, otherwise Iโ€™d have introduced you sooner.โ€

Looking around the group, Dmytro realized he didnโ€™t recognize most of them. โ€œHow come I donโ€™t see Ms. Cherniavsky?โ€

โ€œThe Sรผdlichen Strand branch is just a subsidiary. We canโ€™t spare her. Birgitte and the others didnโ€™t come. These are all from our Rithol City team. This is Vincent, my executive assistant, and these folks areโ€ฆโ€ Aubree explained and introduced everyone to him.

Dmytro replied, โ€œI see now. Ms. Miller, you really are young and capable.โ€ After their investment, GrabCheapโ€™s performance metrics had grown exponentially. Tryfon himself had mentioned several times that he wanted to meet Aubree, but the timing never worked out until now.

Dmytro brought Aubreeโ€™s group to meet Tryfon Marchuk.

Tryfon remarked, โ€œSo youโ€™re the CEO of Bree Technology? Truly impressive. Youโ€™re so young and so successful!โ€

โ€œNot at all. We really have to thank you for believing in us and making that large investment. Without that, GrabCheap wouldnโ€™t have grown the way it has.โ€ Aubree smiled and gracefully deflected the compliment back onto Tryfon.

After all, everyone loved flattery.

Tryfon chuckled. โ€œThen you should really thank Dmytro. If he hadnโ€™t given me his word that youโ€™d get top-tier results, I mightโ€™ve hesitated.โ€

Aubreeโ€™s previous live-streaming platform had been quite successful, but a large part of that success came from being a first mover. What she was doing now with GrabCheap was an entirely different challenge. E-commerce was a saturated market, and while her model was innovative, that didnโ€™t guarantee success. If not for Dmytroโ€™s strong recommendation, Tryfon might have passed.

โ€œGrabCheap? Thatโ€™s the new e-commerce platform that started in Sรผdlichen Strand, right?โ€ The question came from Sheldon Kader, head of a well-known investment firm based in Nadio. He was a prominent figure in Nadioโ€™s business community, and his tone made it clear he was quite interested in Aubree.

Aubree maintained a polite and composed smile. โ€œItโ€™s just a small venture.โ€

Sheldon said, โ€œWell, that kind of โ€˜small ventureโ€™ is exactly what everyone wants a piece of.โ€

As an investor, Sheldon had already been keeping an eye on GrabCheap. His team had analyzed all publicly available data and assessed the investment potential. He was aware that GrabCheap was currently seeking funding and had already secured investment from Manchotech Group.

Not even bothering to be subtle, and relying on his rapport with Tryfon, he said, โ€œTryfon, would you mind if I got in on this too?โ€

Tryfon laughed. โ€œThatโ€™s not for me to decide.โ€

Under normal circumstances, Aubree wouldโ€™ve welcomed Sheldonโ€™s investment. But GrabCheap was different. She wasnโ€™t just looking for money. She was looking for strategic partners and market positioning.

She said, โ€œIt would be an honor to receive your investment, Mr. Kader. But unfortunately, we already have existing partners in place. Hopefully, weโ€™ll have a chance to work together on the next project.โ€

Sheldon expressed regret but didnโ€™t mind joining in on their conversation. Aubree began discussing platform complaint issues with Tryfon.

โ€œDad, is that Aubree over there?โ€ Bryan asked.

Following his gaze, Ronald looked in the same direction.

Alice also turned to look. The moment she saw the man standing half a step behind Aubree, she froze.

โ€œLetโ€™s go check it out,โ€ Ronald said.
