Chapter 363
As soon as she arrived at the venue, Aubree bumped into Dmytro. Although their company had reached a cooperation deal with Manchotech Group, Dmytro was still their main point of contact. Now that things were quieter on the third day, he finally had time to personally introduce her around.
Bowen, as chairman of the Turner Group and a well-known young tycoon, immediately attracted a swarm of people trying to connect with him as soon as he arrived with Aubree. Aubree decisively ditched her โthird wheelโ and took the people from Bree Technology to work the room.
It had been a while since Dmytro had seen them, and he was clearly happy, shaking hands with each of them.
Dmytro said, โTryfon is also here at the conference. The past couple of days have been too hectic, otherwise Iโd have introduced you sooner.โ
Looking around the group, Dmytro realized he didnโt recognize most of them. โHow come I donโt see Ms. Cherniavsky?โ
โThe Sรผdlichen Strand branch is just a subsidiary. We canโt spare her. Birgitte and the others didnโt come. These are all from our Rithol City team. This is Vincent, my executive assistant, and these folks areโฆโ Aubree explained and introduced everyone to him.
Dmytro replied, โI see now. Ms. Miller, you really are young and capable.โ After their investment, GrabCheapโs performance metrics had grown exponentially. Tryfon himself had mentioned several times that he wanted to meet Aubree, but the timing never worked out until now.
Dmytro brought Aubreeโs group to meet Tryfon Marchuk.
Tryfon remarked, โSo youโre the CEO of Bree Technology? Truly impressive. Youโre so young and so successful!โ
โNot at all. We really have to thank you for believing in us and making that large investment. Without that, GrabCheap wouldnโt have grown the way it has.โ Aubree smiled and gracefully deflected the compliment back onto Tryfon.
After all, everyone loved flattery.
Tryfon chuckled. โThen you should really thank Dmytro. If he hadnโt given me his word that youโd get top-tier results, I mightโve hesitated.โ
Aubreeโs previous live-streaming platform had been quite successful, but a large part of that success came from being a first mover. What she was doing now with GrabCheap was an entirely different challenge. E-commerce was a saturated market, and while her model was innovative, that didnโt guarantee success. If not for Dmytroโs strong recommendation, Tryfon might have passed.
โGrabCheap? Thatโs the new e-commerce platform that started in Sรผdlichen Strand, right?โ The question came from Sheldon Kader, head of a well-known investment firm based in Nadio. He was a prominent figure in Nadioโs business community, and his tone made it clear he was quite interested in Aubree.
Aubree maintained a polite and composed smile. โItโs just a small venture.โ
Sheldon said, โWell, that kind of โsmall ventureโ is exactly what everyone wants a piece of.โ
As an investor, Sheldon had already been keeping an eye on GrabCheap. His team had analyzed all publicly available data and assessed the investment potential. He was aware that GrabCheap was currently seeking funding and had already secured investment from Manchotech Group.
Not even bothering to be subtle, and relying on his rapport with Tryfon, he said, โTryfon, would you mind if I got in on this too?โ
Tryfon laughed. โThatโs not for me to decide.โ
Under normal circumstances, Aubree wouldโve welcomed Sheldonโs investment. But GrabCheap was different. She wasnโt just looking for money. She was looking for strategic partners and market positioning.
She said, โIt would be an honor to receive your investment, Mr. Kader. But unfortunately, we already have existing partners in place. Hopefully, weโll have a chance to work together on the next project.โ
Sheldon expressed regret but didnโt mind joining in on their conversation. Aubree began discussing platform complaint issues with Tryfon.
โDad, is that Aubree over there?โ Bryan asked.
Following his gaze, Ronald looked in the same direction.
Alice also turned to look. The moment she saw the man standing half a step behind Aubree, she froze.
โLetโs go check it out,โ Ronald said.
