Chapter 200: He Is a Scumbag

Vance was stunned. He replayed Olivia’s speaking part in the variety show. Listening carefully, he cursed inwardly! It is Olivia’s voice, exactly the same! Is Zenith Entertainment not famous enough? Why sign those small, outdated companies but not mine?

Vance immediately grabbed the phone. “Hello, how much did we invest in Mr. Jos’s project?” Because the variety show delayed her filming for a few days, after Olivia returned, Jos’s team quickly arranged the remaining scenes for her.

Daisy watched Olivia, who was filming the last scene. “Olivia must have some incredible luck. Mr. Tobie actually invited her to be on the variety show.” Amelia replied with a hint of bitterness, “She did well on the show. I guess she finally made a breakthrough.”

Daisy rolled her eyes. “If it weren’t for Mr. Jos’s project boosting her popularity, do you think Mr. Tobie would’ve invited Olivia to the variety show? If you hadn’t recommended her to Mr. Jos’s crew, she wouldn’t have had this chance. But look at her, she doesn’t even appreciate you. She’s such an ingrate.”

Amelia smiled faintly, but inside, she regretted recommending Olivia to the crew more than anyone. She’d wanted to push Olivia down, but instead, Olivia had risen sharply.

As they were talking, a figure suddenly entered the studio. Daisy’s eyes lit up when she saw the person. “Amelia, Mr. Christian is here.”

Christian Foster, wearing casual clothes, walked in slowly, followed by a few assistants holding two huge bouquets of flowers. “I can’t believe it, are the rumors true? The heir of Donrale Group is really pursuing Amelia?”

“Christian is so handsome!” At that moment, all eyes were on Christian. Olivia, who had just finished filming the last scene, took the water Jared handed her.

“Olivia, the heir of Donrale Group, Christian, is here. Looks like he’s here to give Amelia a wrap gift,” Jared said. Hearing the name “Christian,” Olivia’s movement paused slightly. Following everyone’s gaze, she saw Christian walking toward Amelia.

“Scumbag,” Olivia muttered, her lips curling. Jared was bewildered by Olivia’s comment. Under everyone’s watchful eyes, Christian reached Amelia’s side.

“Congratulations, you’ve finished another drama,” Christian said, smiling. Amelia smiled shyly, but her eyes subtly glanced at Olivia, who was not far away. “Thank you, what brings you here?”

Christian grinned. “How could I miss your wrap party, my princess?” He then turned to Jos. “To thank everyone for taking care of Amelia, I’ve booked a place at Halston Hotel.” Jos nodded.

“However, we have an investor coming today. Not sure if it’s convenient.” “Of course, it’s fine. I also want to thank them,” Christian said with a smile, but his gaze briefly faltered when it landed on Olivia.

“Olivia?” Christian’s face showed a hint of surprise. Why is she here in this crew? Christian’s expression changed slightly, and the subtle shift didn’t escape Amelia’s notice. Amelia stepped forward, linking her arm with the man she had once stolen from Olivia.

“Christian, you’re too good to me.” Christian snapped back to attention, looking at the beautiful Amelia beside him, his eyes full of tenderness.
