Chapter 225: Is Eugene Part of Olivia’s Family?

Olivia looked at Eugene, who was getting ready to carry her away from the NPCs. With so much at stake, she wasn’t about to take any risks. She suggested, “Don’t be ridiculous. I have invisibility talismans in my clothes. Let’s use two right now.”

“Her hands and feet are tied! Get her! Revenge is ours today!” the NPCs howled as they rushed forward. They didn’t care that they were not supposed to attack her. The opportunity to capture the rogue was right in front of them!

Olivia looked at the NPCs, whose eyes seemed to glow green with excitement, and said, “Hurry up! They’re coming!”

Alexander decided to go ahead with what she asked for and felt for the talismans in her clothes. While her clothes looked intricate, the fabric was actually very light and thin. He could feel the warmth of her skin radiating across the layers.

Olivia was fully focused on the NPCs trying to get their revenge. She didn’t notice that a certain someone was taking their sweet time retrieving the talismans from her.

Just as the NPCs were about to lay a finger on them, Alexander finally pulled out two invisibility talismans and placed them on himself and Olivia, right in front of the NPCs’ faces.

The pouncing NPCs landed on thin air, crashing into one another. “This is just plain unfair!”

One NPC couldn’t help but shout, “Can you not mess with us? A gentleman should play the game fair and square!”

Olivia glanced at the NPC, who was brimming with murderous intent. “Do I look like a man to you?”

The NPC face-palmed. “D’mn! She has a point!”

Olivia felt a sense of déjà vu as Alexander carried her and leisurely brushed past the group of vengeful NPCs without a care in the world. As she went past them, she could clearly hear the sound of their teeth grinding.

“Follow them!” the NPCs shouted in anger. Why was exacting revenge so hard?

Alexander glanced at the NPCs trailing behind them. “Should I untie your ropes first?”

Olivia nodded. “Good idea.”

The invisibility talismans last for ten minutes. “How many can you take out?”

The NPCs were horrified. What were they going to do?

She then turned to Alexander and asked, “What about you, Eugene?”

Alexander replied, “I can always give it a shot.”

The NPCs following behind them froze, as if they were rooted to the ground. Olivia’s “massacre” from the live show, and several of her victims being forced to show off their muscles the day before in front of friends and family that evening, humiliating themselves in the process, had been a nightmare! And now, with Alexander by her side…

Olivia alone was already a huge headache for the show. How was this newcomer also joining in Olivia’s antics?

The NPCs finally gave up, kissing their desire for revenge goodbye. Fully aware their dignity was worth saving more than getting their revenge, they had no desire to be humiliated again. Screw it! These people aren’t human!

“Huh? Why are you leaving? Let’s talk!” Olivia watched the small fry flee, her eyes filled with disappointment.

Inside the production team’s control room, Tobie’s blood pressure skyrocketed, and his mouth was twitching uncontrollably. “Is Eugene part of Olivia’s family?! Why isn’t he collecting gold? Who told him to go Olivia?”

Tobie had thought that getting rid of the lackluster Louis would mean ushering in a participant who would bring in more entertainment. However, he never imagined that the new participant also wouldn’t play by the rules!

It was already bad enough for Alexander to rush in and save someone, and now he was teaming up with Olivia to wreak havoc throughout the show. Tobie felt that no medicine could save his shattered heart. He needed CPR pronto!
