Chapter 246: More Shameful Than Hitting?

Kyson sat in his study, staring at the live broadcast where Olivia was fighting fiercely.

“You little rascal, not training properly and slacking off again! I think your instructors are too lenient, letting you have the energy to sit here,” a middle-aged man with a stern face and an aura of righteousness frowned and scolded.

Kyson jumped at the shout. Brogan could not stand to see Kyson neglecting his duties day in and day out.

“Going on a variety show, you can’t even handle a celebrity. If Corey knew, he’d break your legs!”

Brogan pondered. Thinking of the Fulton Family, with four generations in the military, each a standout in the army, how could the son he raised be so disappointing?

Kyson muttered quietly, “It’s not that I couldn’t handle her; it’s because she’s a woman. How could I, a grown man, bring myself to hit a woman?”

“Is there anything more shameful than hitting a woman?”

Brogan scoffed coldly, “There is.”

Kyson replied, “What?”

Brogan replied, “Not being able to.”

Kyson was speechless. Is this really my dad?

Kyson wanted to argue more, but remembering Olivia’s hit that locked his throat and waist, he immediately chickened out.

“Dad, it’s really not my fault, just look at her; can she be just any woman?” Kyson pointed at the computer screen where Olivia was teaching her fans military boxing.

Brogan was initially impatient, but when he saw Olivia’s sharp moves…

“Is this young lady from the military?” Those punches were too precise!

“I don’t know… All her profile says is that she grew up in a place called Blumera; never heard about her attending any military school.”

Despite being utterly outmatched by Olivia on the show, Brogan had to admit: his own legitimate military school training, his military boxing, probably wasn’t even as standard as hers.

Brogan said, “Military boxing isn’t suited for actual combat, too lethal; hits are either fatal or severely injurious. Teaching such things to young girls isn’t quite right…”

“What did you say her name was?”

“Olivia.”

“She grew up in Blumera?” Brogan’s eyes narrowed slightly.

Kyson didn’t understand why his father was suddenly interested in a celebrity, but he just nodded.

“That’s what her profile says, though I’ve searched online and couldn’t find where Blumera is.”

Brogan took a deep breath. “Send me the link to this livestream,” Brogan replied with a stern look.

Kyson, confused, obediently handed it over. Brogan didn’t say anything else and turned to leave the study.

After leaving the study, Brogan immediately called Corey.

“Yes, the brat said the artist’s name is Olivia, and she grew up in Blumera.”

“Yeah, I watched her perform military boxing; it was indeed beautiful.”

“I’m not sure yet, probably need to meet her in person to know if it’s really her…” “Alright, leave this matter to me; I’ll let you know once I have an update.”

Brogan hung up the phone, a peculiar look in his eyes. He walked back to the study.

Kyson thought he was about to be scolded again. Who knows…

“Give me the phone number of the person in charge of that variety show you were on.”

Kyson complained, “I was just an extra, I don’t have the person in charge’s phone…” Seeing the murderous look in Corey’s eyes, he quickly corrected himself, “Our instructor has it! I’ll get it for you right away!”

But before Kyson could finish, Brogan had already called his direct instructor.

“Tell the show’s crew, for the next episode of the variety show, they’re going to Borealia Military Academy.” Brogan ordered directly.
