Chapter 289: Call Me Daddy
Letโs set aside the ridiculously hideous knockoff mask for a moment.
Just look at the new instructorโs physiqueโslender arms, thin legs, and a petite figure. Nothing about her screamed combat expert.
โFelix, youโve got to be kidding. Sheโs our new instructor?โ one of the students asked incredulously.
Felixโs face turned stern. โDo I look like Iโm joking?โ
The students were speechless. If this isnโt a joke, what is?
โYouโd better shape up! The new instructor wonโt be here long, so make the most of every second to learn from her! Stay sharp and stop fooling around!โ Felix barked. Though he sounded fierce, he was genuinely trying to get through to them.
Oliviaโs combat skills at Aeroville Military Academy were legendary. Convincing her to teach here not only bypassed her dropout agreement but also allowed students to witness Aeroville techniques firsthand. This was a rare opportunityโone these brats needed to appreciate!
The studentsโ expressions screamed skepticism. They seriously wondered if Felix had been knocked out one too many times by Olivia.
โThe rest is up to you,โ Felix said to Olivia, his tone unusually solemn.
Olivia nodded. โIโve taken their offer, so Iโll do my part.โ She took her responsibilities seriously.
Felix left the combat arena, but instead of leaving entirely, he crouched outside the door, peeking through the gap to watch. Damn. I want to pick up a few tricks myself!
The moment Felix walked out, the students erupted into chatter. None of them seemed to take the new instructor seriously.
โInstructor, what should we call you?โ a cheeky student asked with a grin.
โInstructor, where did you get that mask? Itโs so ugly!โ
โInstructor, are you sure youโre here to teach combat? You didnโt walk into the wrong classroom, did you?โ
Oliviaโs gaze landed on a tall, burly student leading the chaos, his smug grin showing no respect. She crooked a finger at him.
Egged on by his classmatesโ cheers, the student strutted overconfidently, even winking at the others.
โInstructor, what do you need from me?โ he asked, completely oblivious to the storm coming his way.
Olivia stepped closer, placing her small hand on his shoulder.
The student blinked, confused. The next secondโhe was airborne.
With a deafening bam, Olivia threw the nearly six-foot-tall student over her shoulder, slamming him into the ground. Dust flew up; the impact echoed through the arena. A loud groan of pain escaped the studentโs lips.
The room fell silent. All the smug, grinning students froze, their eyes wide with shock as they stared at their classmate sprawled on the ground, wincing in pain.
Olivia dusted off her hands and glanced at the stunned crowd. โAs long as you can take my hits, you can call me Ultraman or whatever you like,โ she said calmly. โBut until thenโฆโ
She unzipped her jacket, revealing a new T-shirt she had just bought on the way over. Bold letters on the shirt read โCall me daddy.โ
The students were shocked. What the heck? The entire group was dumbfounded. Never in their wildest dreams had they expected their new instructor to be this fierce.
As they debated whether to complain, Kyson suddenly spoke up, his tone cautious. โHeyโฆdoesnโt the new instructorโs voice sound a bit familiar to you?โ
Everyone fell silent. Now that he mentioned it, it did sound familiar. Not just familiarโit sounded exactly like the voice of the person who had once beaten Felix so badly he was left crawling on the floorโฆ Olivia!
