Chapter 308: You Cannot Back Out

As Starlit Entertainment made calls to various martial arts academies, Olivia had already dialed Felix. Felix was curious about why Olivia contacted him out of the blue. When she mentioned wanting Borealia Military Academy students as extras, he was stunned.

“Extras? Olivia, have you lost your mind? They’re students, our future national assets. How can they waste time in the entertainment industry?” Felix immediately shot down the idea without a second thought. If students get involved in acting, their focus is bound to be completely thrown off.

Listening to Felix’s outburst, Olivia held the phone away until his yelling subsided. “Mr. Felix, please calm down…”

“I can’t stay calm!” Felix fumed. Olivia, already a promising talent who’d ventured into the chaotic entertainment world, now wants to drag military students into it too? “I’m warning you, give up that idea immediately! No way, absolutely not!”

Olivia replied calmly, “What if I personally train them after each filming session?”

“Even if you train them yourself, I still won’t…” Felix began, but stopped mid-sentence, realizing something odd. “You’re saying you’d personally train them? Every day?”

“Yes,” Olivia confirmed. “Tactical guidance, special combat techniques, reconnaissance, shooting, Morse code decryption… I’ll ensure they make up for any missed coursework nightly.” Determined to cut costs, Olivia went all in.

Felix hesitated, recalling Brogan’s praise for Olivia’s perfect scores in every subject at Aeroville Military Academy. “Are you serious?” Felix asked skeptically.

“I’ll sign a contract,” Olivia assured him. “If any of the students who help me fail their exams, I’ll face military court.”

Felix inhaled sharply. “How many do you need?”

“Usually a few dozen to a hundred, maybe more for special scenes,” Olivia calculated.

Felix’s heart raced, not from anger, but excitement. Military exams were notoriously rigorous. Even instructors didn’t dare guarantee all their students would pass. Yet Olivia was willing to bet on it. Is this the confidence of Aeroville Military Academy’s top students? Normally, Borealia cadets only saw her weekly. But working as extras meant daily guidance from the best Aeroville had to offer.

“You said it. You can’t back out!” Felix quickly changed his tune.

Fearing Olivia might rethink her offer, he added, “I’ll get Mr. Brogan’s approval right away! You can’t take it back. Just tell me when filming starts, and I’ll send them over!”

Before Olivia could respond, Felix hung up and dashed off to report to Brogan. With Felix on board, Olivia returned to the meeting room to find Zayn looking grim. While she was out making calls, Zayn had contacted several martial arts academies to see if he could borrow students. But the news he received had blindsided him.
