Liliana, although unsure how Olivia had managed to coax these two young heirs into the crew, was certain that the Thompson and Moore families wouldn’t allow their sons to become the subject of online ridicule. It wasn’t just the faces of these two young men at stake; it was the reputation of two prominent families.

“I should have never agreed to let you study in that damned acting program! Have I raised you all these years just to embarrass me publicly?” Byron furiously scolded Benjamin as he walked through the door.
Earlier that evening, Byron had received an anonymous email detailing Benjamin’s recent escapades. The Moore family, prominent even among the elite, had its reputation to consider. Byron, having taken control from his father, had always been diligent. He could never have imagined Benjamin, upon nearing graduation, would impulsively decide to become an actor—and in such a disastrous fashion! Just viewing the embarrassing photos in the email and reading the harsh online comments was enough to make Byron’s head explode.

As soon as Benjamin got home, he was bombarded by Byron’s fury. Facing Byron’s anger, Benjamin only slightly furrowed his brow.
“I should never have let you go into acting. Look at what you’ve done over the years! Racing with hoodlums or messing around in these ridiculous plays, you’re about to tarnish the Moore family’s name!” Byron was so enraged he felt like strangling his son.
Benjamin paused, a sarcastic smile curling his lips. “What I’ve done these years, of course, you wouldn’t know. If it weren’t for Benedict getting caught, you probably wouldn’t have bothered to check on me at all.”
Benedict, Byron’s son from another woman, had been brought into the Moore family a few years ago. From the moment Benedict arrived, Byron’s attention shifted away from Benjamin. Benjamin had always felt that Byron didn’t like him. If it hadn’t been for his grandfather’s insistence on making him the Moore heir, Byron would likely have preferred Benedict, his illegitimate son, to take over.
Hearing this, Byron’s expression darkened. “Why bring up Benedict now? I’m talking about you!”
Benjamin looked at his father scornfully. “Benedict tried to frame me with drugs to get me imprisoned, and you didn’t think it was a big deal. You even got him out and sent him abroad. Now, I’m just acting in a play, and you act like the sky is falling?”
If it weren’t for Olivia accidentally discovering Benedict’s scheme, Benjamin would have been destroyed by Benedict’s plot.
