Chapter 353: Do You Even Remember Youโre His Father?
Liliana, although unsure how Olivia had managed to coax these two young heirs into the crew, was certain that the Thompson and Moore families wouldnโt allow their sons to become the subject of online ridicule. It wasnโt just the faces of these two young men at stake; it was the reputation of two prominent families.
That evening, at the Moore residence.
โI should have never agreed to let you study in that damned acting program! Have I raised you all these years just to embarrass me publicly?โ Byron furiously scolded Benjamin as he walked through the door.
Earlier that evening, Byron had received an anonymous email detailing Benjaminโs recent escapades. The Moore family, prominent even among the elite, had its reputation to consider. Byron, having taken control from his father, had always been diligent. He could never have imagined Benjamin, upon nearing graduation, would impulsively decide to become an actorโand in such a disastrous fashion! Just viewing the embarrassing photos in the email and reading the harsh online comments was enough to make Byronโs head explode.
Is this the behavior expected of my son?
As soon as Benjamin got home, he was bombarded by Byronโs fury. Facing Byronโs anger, Benjamin only slightly furrowed his brow.
โI should never have let you go into acting. Look at what youโve done over the years! Racing with hoodlums or messing around in these ridiculous plays, youโre about to tarnish the Moore familyโs name!โ Byron was so enraged he felt like strangling his son.
Benjamin paused, a sarcastic smile curling his lips. โWhat Iโve done these years, of course, you wouldnโt know. If it werenโt for Benedict getting caught, you probably wouldnโt have bothered to check on me at all.โ
Benedict, Byronโs son from another woman, had been brought into the Moore family a few years ago. From the moment Benedict arrived, Byronโs attention shifted away from Benjamin. Benjamin had always felt that Byron didnโt like him. If it hadnโt been for his grandfatherโs insistence on making him the Moore heir, Byron would likely have preferred Benedict, his illegitimate son, to take over.
Hearing this, Byronโs expression darkened. โWhy bring up Benedict now? Iโm talking about you!โ
Benjamin looked at his father scornfully. โBenedict tried to frame me with drugs to get me imprisoned, and you didnโt think it was a big deal. You even got him out and sent him abroad. Now, Iโm just acting in a play, and you act like the sky is falling?โ
If it werenโt for Olivia accidentally discovering Benedictโs scheme, Benjamin would have been destroyed by Benedictโs plot.

Stunned that Benjamin remembered all these details.
โHow dare you speak to me like that! Iโm your father! Benedict is your younger brother; he just took a wrong path. As his elder, shouldnโt you guide him instead of holding grudges? Do you even remember the suffering he endured while imprisoned?โ
Benjamin was long accustomed to his fatherโs irrational favoritism. Just as he was about to head to his room to avoid further pointless argument, an old yet powerful voice suddenly filled the room.
โDo you even remember youโre his father?โ
