Chapter 406: Eugene is Olivia’s Benefactor?

Due to filming, Olivia had not been staying at the Wilson Mansion recently. This time, when she finally came back, Liam had the kitchen prepare a lavish dinner.

As soon as the meal started, Liam kept adding food to Olivia’s bowl, showing warm concern, especially after hearing about the accident on set today, which left him quite shaken. “Aren’t you going to show some concern for Olivia? She just got scared!”

Alexander looked up at Olivia. Olivia blinked. If it hadn’t been for returning to the Wilson Mansion, she might have almost forgotten she even had a husband. However, she was quite pleased with the current state of non-interference between her and Alexander.

“Grandpa, you misunderstand, he has already shown his concern today,” Olivia said with a smile.

Alexander was slightly startled. Had my disguise slipped? He was sure he had worn his mask right after his makeup was ruined.

Liam asked, “He did?”

Having not been alone together for a long time, Olivia quietly took out her phone to scroll through Twitter. Alexander sat beside her, watching a woman who completely ignored him as she scrolled through gossip. As she browsed, Olivia suddenly saw a trending topic flash before her eyes.

“Scoop! Eugene is Olivia’s benefactor?”

Olivia was stunned. What the heck? How did Eugene end up being my benefactor? Olivia clicked on the trending topic and immediately saw a blurry interview. In the interview, a person with their eyes pixelated was speaking to a reporter about the explosion at the “Legacy of the Dynasty” set warehouse earlier that day. The interview was fairly normal until the end when the crew member inexplicably veered off-topic.

“Thanks to Eugene, who disregarded his own safety to rush into the fire and rescue Olivia. Though it seems he got injured in the face, I was just passing by his makeup room when Olivia, who was just rescued, was at the door… Oh my… I didn’t expect to hear such explosive news, I just got there and heard Olivia say through the door to Eugene, ‘I’ll support you then!’”

As the crew member spoke, a blissful smile appeared on their face. It was as if the couple they shipped had finally made it official.
