Chapter 415: Why is Alexander Here?

Many heirs of wealthy families couldn’t take their eyes off Olivia the moment they saw her.

“No need, you eat more,” Mia said, watching Olivia devour her food yet still manage to look crazily beautiful.

Olivia commented, “These little sweets really don’t fill you up. Why didn’t they arrange for a roast pig or a whole lamb? That would be more substantial.”

After eating nearly two plates, aside from feeling sickly sweet, she felt no fullness at all. Mia was stunned.

Just as Mia was rendered speechless by Olivia’s grounded remarks, an ill-intentioned voice suddenly came from behind them.

“I thought who it could be, Mia, huh? I heard you’re not doing so well these days. After your family went bankrupt, you actually ran off to join the entertainment industry?” Jason approached from behind Mia.

Jason had been startled when he first saw Mia, thinking he had seen wrong. Even when the Davis family hadn’t gone bankrupt, they weren’t eligible to attend such high-level dinners.

As Mia turned and saw Jason’s face, her mood instantly plummeted. Olivia, still enjoying her dessert, looked at Jason’s face. It seemed familiar. But it was Jason who was struck by recognition upon seeing Olivia’s face.

“I was wondering why it felt odd. Didn’t the Moore family say that no entertainers were invited to this birthday celebration? Yet, how come you two are here? Or did you come here with your benefactor?” Jason didn’t know that Olivia was the same one who had beaten him up in school, still thinking she came with Mia. He had some designs on Mia before.

But now, upon seeing Olivia’s face, he was instantly captivated by her stunning beauty. Compared to Olivia’s radiant beauty, Mia hardly caught the eye. Observing Olivia dressed so plainly, Jason harbored sleazy thoughts.

“Jason, watch your mouth!” Mia snapped.

Olivia: “Oh, it’s you.”

Jason raised an eyebrow, completely ignoring Mia and focusing solely on Olivia.

“What? You know me? Pretty, I know you, you were in ‘Legacy of the Dynasty’ with her, right? Being an actress is so tough. Why don’t you follow me instead? I guarantee to provide you the best of everything, keep you out of the hardships of the entertainment industry. If you like acting, I can even invest and make you famous. What do you think?”

But when she heard him brazenly hitting on Olivia, she instantly calmed down. Some people are just begging for trouble, and I am not going to stop them.

Olivia narrowed her eyes, contemplating how to twist Jason’s neck without disrupting the event, when… a tall figure suddenly stepped in as Jason got increasingly bold and tried to move closer to Olivia, and with a fierce kick, knocked Jason to the ground.

“Oh my!” Jason cried out, clutching his knee.

The man who had broken Jason’s kneecap with a kick, looked indifferently at Jason’s contorted face, and with another kick, shattered his teeth as he wailed.

Olivia looked up to see who the brave young man was and in a flash, locked eyes with Alexander’s deep and icy gaze. Olivia was stunned.

What? Why is Alexander here? Did the Moore family invite him too?
