Chapter 422: If You Give Me One Billion Now +8 Pearls

The already small room seemed even more cramped as Alexander’s long legs shortened the distance between the door and the large bed. Olivia suddenly gasped, leaping out of Alexander’s arms with a swift motion like a startled person. Without giving Alexander any time to speak, she pulled open the room’s door and ran out. Alexander watched Olivia flee in haste, a barely discernible smile crossing his eyes.

Olivia, who had almost ruined herself just to annoy Georgina, ran all the way back to the backyard and returned to Mia’s side, pouring herself a glass of orange juice. Just as Mia was about to ask what had happened, a lavishly dressed woman suddenly approached them.

Georgina watched Olivia leave the room and followed her. “Ms. Carter, there are some things I think I need to warn you about.” Olivia looked at Georgina, who seemed like a shadow. “Oh?”

Georgina said, “Given Ms. Carter’s status, attending tonight’s Moore family anniversary party must be a rare opportunity. I understand your desire to climb the social ladder, but please have some self-awareness. There are some people you just can’t reach.” Georgina’s tone was calm, but her words were both openly and subtly demeaning Olivia, hinting that Olivia was looking for a benefactor at tonight’s event.

Mia looked annoyed and was about to retort. However, Olivia suddenly smiled and said, “Whether I can reach them or not isn’t for Ms. Georgina to decide. Besides, why does Ms. Georgina care so much about me? Is it because you saw Mr. Wilson carrying me upstairs earlier and got angry, jealous?” Mia was puzzled.

Oh my? Carried upstairs? What have I missed?

Georgina’s face turned pale and flushed at Olivia’s retort. Then, as if something dawned on her, Georgina regained her composure and sneered, “Do you really think you can enter the Wilson family’s door just with your looks? I think you better stop dreaming. Just a friendly reminder, Alex is already married.” Mia remained silent.

Is this the juicy gossip I could hear without paying?

Georgina was momentarily stunned. She knew already?

“Have you no shame? Knowing that Alex is married, and you still shamelessly flirted with him just now? Are you so desperate for money? Flirting with a married man, you’re utterly shameless.”

Olivia replied, “Yes, flirting with a married man is especially, extremely shameless.” Georgina was speechless. Olivia continued, “I never thought about seducing anyone, but unfortunately, being too attractive is also a problem. Maybe you should keep Alexander away?” Georgina felt she couldn’t communicate with Olivia. What a shameless young actress!

“Is it just money you want? Take this money; I don’t want to see you around Alex ever again,” Georgina frowned, pulling out a check from her bag and writing a fairly generous amount. Olivia looked at the check that came out of nowhere and sighed regretfully. The amount was substantial but not enough. Why couldn’t Georgina just be generous for true love?

“If you give me one billion now, I promise I’ll never appear in front of him again.”
