The moment the piano started, the guests near the floral hall instantly fell silent. Everyone’s attention, guided by the spotlight, fell on the young girl playing in the center of the hall. With just one glance, it seemed impossible for anyone to tear their gaze away from her.

The girl playing solo under the moonlight carried an air of seclusion, her slender fingers dancing lightly across the keyboard. The notes that sprung forth felt like midnight sprites gently stepping over the hearts of the audience.

Liliana immediately spotted Olivia, who was performing in the center of the floral hall. In an instant, Liliana’s breath caught as if someone had snatched it away; she couldn’t believe Olivia was actually present at this birthday celebration! Panic and unease overwhelmed her at that moment; she was terrified that other members of the Kenneth family would witness this scene.

Unbeknownst to her… on the other side of the floral hall, Brody and Paul had already caught sight of Olivia. “Livi can play the piano?” Paul expressed his surprise at Olivia’s solo performance.

He looked thoughtfully at Walden. “How do you like the piano music?”

Walden responded gruffly, “I’m talking serious matters with you; what about the piano music?”

It is pleasant, but I would never compliment anything from the Moore family! Daxton smirked. Stubborn till the end.

Tired of arguing, Daxton wheeled himself to the balcony. He watched Olivia play in the floral hall, his eyes filled with nostalgia. “I remember Casey played the piano well too.”

“Tonight, that’s the only sensible thing you’ve said.” As he spoke, Walden casually glanced toward the place where the piano was being played. But that glance made him feel something was off.

He frowned, fixing his eyes on the girl playing the piano. The sight stopped Walden dead in his tracks. In the floral hall, Olivia in a white evening gown played elegantly under the spotlight. Her pale face showed no hint of emotional turmoil, calm as if the surrounding guests didn’t exist.

In just an instant, Walden’s heart jolted, and he spun around, grabbing Daxton by the collar. “Daxton! Do you know, back in the day, anyone who dared to have surgery to look like her, I taught them a damn lesson! Do you believe I can throw you off this balcony?” Walden’s eyes narrowed, his weathered gaze becoming sharp and menacing.

Daxton remained unusually calm. “At your age, can’t you tell whether that face is surgically altered or natural?” Walden paused for a moment. Daxton then tossed the binoculars he had prepared in advance to Walden.
