Chapter 96: Are All These Guys Blind?

Olivia’s cold lingered for several days. Under Liam’s strict orders, she obediently stayed home to recover. Once she was better, Liam even arranged for someone to drop her off at school and pick her up.

“Livi, I heard you were sick?” Isabella’s hand had healed completely. The moment Olivia entered the classroom, Isabella gave her a thorough check. Only after confirming Olivia was fine did she breathe a sigh of relief.

“I’m all better.” Olivia set down her bag and pinched Isabella’s soft cheeks. “How’s your hand? You’ll be going abroad soon. Make sure it’s completely healed.”

As the winner of the performance competition, Olivia had kept the cash prize but gave the overseas study opportunity to Isabella.

“It’s fine now.” Isabella waved her hand and smiled sweetly at Olivia. “Livi, are you really giving me this spot? But I didn’t even participate in the performance. I don’t deserve it…”

Olivia lazily slumped over her desk. “I’m too lazy to go!”

“Livi, are you feeling better? I sent you messages over the past few days, but you didn’t reply,” Sophia approached them.

She was still seething from what happened at the brokerage firm, but she had calmed down in the past few days. No matter how much Olivia seemed to have changed, she was still just as ugly as ever.

Sophia had noticed Olivia’s growing closeness with Lucas and Hudson. She planned to use Olivia to spend more time with them. Surely, once they spent enough time together, they would open their eyes and realize who was truly worthy of their attention. No way would those two continue doting on this ugly duckling while ignoring my beauty!

“My phone broke,” Olivia said smoothly, without the slightest hint of guilt.

Sophia ignored Olivia’s indifference. She could endure it for now. Once she had secured either Lucas or Hudson, she’d dump Olivia immediately.

“Oh, I see.” Sophia replied absentmindedly, glancing towards Mia, who was seated nearby.

Usually, whenever Olivia entered the classroom, Mia would lead her group to pick on her. She was waiting for Mia to take the move. But after waiting for a while, Mia simply sat there, expressionless, and the rest of the class seemed equally uninterested in provoking Olivia.

The odd atmosphere made Sophia uneasy. What’s wrong with these people? Weren’t they always making Olivia do chores or run errands? While Sophia was still puzzled, a figure appeared at the doorway.

Benjamin entered the classroom. The handsome young man with his silky black hair caught everyone’s attention. Sophia’s heart skipped a beat the moment she saw him.

With his good looks and impeccable family background, Benjamin was the cream of the crop at St. Rona Academy. He had once been Sophia’s target, but his aloof personality and rare appearances at school made her give up.

“Mr. Benjamin…” Sophia flashed her most enchanting smile.

But Benjamin walked right past her and stopped at Olivia’s desk.

“I heard you were sick. Feeling better now?” Benjamin asked, his eyes filled with genuine concern.

“Healthy as a horse,” Olivia replied with a yawn.

Liam’s constant feeding these past few days had made her feel like her face had gotten rounder.

Benjamin let out a sigh of relief. “I wanted to visit you at home, but… I had some family matters.” Yet he didn’t even know where Olivia stayed.

Sophia stared in disbelief as Benjamin, who was supposed to be a lone wolf, showed nothing but care and concern for Olivia.

It’s Olivia again! Always Olivia! What’s wrong with these guys? First Lucas, then Hudson, and now even Benjamin… These once untouchable, high-and-mighty boys, why were they all suddenly bending over backward for this ugly duckling!
