Maria looked at Declan, unsure of what to say. She thought, "Mrs. Simpson is going through a hard time. Her four sons can’t help; instead, they are each causing trouble."

Maria spoke earnestly, “Mr. Declan Simpson, Mrs. Simpson is already struggling. She doesn’t want to tell you the truth because she thinks you’re bad. But I believe you still have some conscience. There was a knock at the door.

Maria glanced at the door and said, “Come in.”

Why hasn’t it come through this month?” Maria squinted slightly, thinking, “How could she not recognize the man in front of her is indeed Mr. Declan Simpson?"

It’s better than letting him get influenced by Jennifer and opposing Ms. Shawn. After all, he’s your son and more trustworthy than outsiders.”
