In an instant, all eyes were on them.
The main cast first stood on the stage, offering a sincere bow to everyone. Then, amidst the applause, all the lights were completely extinguished.
At that moment, Madelyn seized the opportunity to glance down at the audience. As expected, she saw Sebastian seated in the front row.

This commander was none other than Josiah, who also played the male lead in this stage drama, Tyrone Hoffman.
Following behind Josiah was Tristan, who was playing Marlow Cole, and several young soldiers carrying guns and wearing hats. On the ground, there lay about a dozen students, who were acting as ordinary people who had either died or been injured after their homes were ravaged by war, each of them smeared with blood.
“Commander Hoffman, there shouldn’t be any survivors here,” Marlow, played by Tristan, said in a somber tone.
“They were all our people,” remarked Tyrone, played by Josiah, with a hint of regret. “Send someone to take care of their bodies and ensure they’re properly laid to rest.”
“Understood,” Marlow answered.
At that moment, a beautiful yet helpless woman suddenly emerged from behind the stage.
As soon as Madelyn stepped onto the stage, she called out, her eyes brimming with tears, “Commander!”
The maid, played by Jillian, was trailing behind her, tears streaming down her face. She kept pleading, “Miss, I beg you, let’s go home. It’s not safe out here! Before your father left, he instructed me to take good care of you. If something happens to you, how am I supposed to explain it to him?”
However, Madelyn simply wasn’t listening.

The colossal stage light hanging above the group of people was teetering dangerously, seemingly about to plummet any second.
Upon seeing the situation, Jillian was terrified, her nerves on edge. She immediately cried out in alarm, “Madelyn, watch out!”
No sooner had the words been spoken than the massive stage light came loose, crashing down directly toward Madelyn’s head.

Yadiel and Josiah, along with a few others, stood frozen in place, shocked, as if they’d been struck by a bolt out of the blue. Their minds struggled to comprehend what had just happened. How could this happen?
Suddenly, a student burst in, shouting, “The ambulance is here! The ambulance is here!”
Upon hearing that, Sebastian didn’t hesitate. He immediately scooped up Madelyn and hastily made his way out. He then placed her on a medical stretcher, rushing her to the hospital for emergency treatment.
