Chapter 309: Not So Easy to Bully
โMadelyn, please, I beg you to forgive me!โ Regina bowed deeply.
Madelyn was dumbfounded. At that moment, classes ended, and a large crowd gathered at the campus entrance. Seeing the scene, many pointed and whispered about Madelyn. Regina had chosen this time specifically, knowing a crowd would form, allowing her to leverage their presence to pressure Madelyn. However, she underestimated Madelyn.
Madelyn sneered. โMust you embarrass yourself like this? All right, Regina. Youโve brought this upon yourself.โ She raised her voice, no longer bothering with politeness. โDoes everyone see this? This woman kneeling before me has been pleading for forgiveness. However, I will never forgive her, let alone pity her! She is not my biological mother but a homewrecker who drove my real mother away and is now trying to seize our familyโs wealth! The harm sheโs done to me and our family business has been immense! My father, seeing her true colors, decided to divorce her. Yet, she canโt accept it, begging me and even daring to call herself my mother. Itโs disgusting! I ask you all, if you were in my shoes, would you forgive someone who destroyed your family?โ
Those criticizing Madelyn were speechless. After a while, someone exclaimed, โNo way! I will never forgive a homewrecker!โ Others agreed, โI wonโt either! This type of woman is despicable!โ โMadelyn, donโt forgive her. Make her leave you alone!โ Madelynโs classmates unanimously defended her, fiercely scolding Regina.
Regina, unprepared for this, stood up angrily, her unpleasant nature revealed. โMadelyn, mark my words, I wonโt let this matter rest!โ She stumbled away, her classmates applauding.
Madelyn breathed a sigh of relief. She led Josiah and the others to the combat training center, where they were well-acquainted. The receptionist greeted them; they changed into their training outfits and proceeded to the training room.
Maxton was surprised to see Madelyn. He expressed concern.
โWho said I came here for training?โ Madelyn grinned. โCanโt I be here to watch?โ
โAll right then,โ Maxton replied resignedly.
Madelyn toured the training room and spotted Lindsay, who was intensely training others, occasionally criticizing them sharply, leaving the trainees displeased. Madelyn scoffed. Turning to Josiah and Jillian, she said, โThatโs Lindsay. You two start training; Iโll watch.โ
They nodded and began training separately. Maxton approached Madelyn, offering her water. โWarm yourself first. If you really want to train, use only your legs, not your hands.โ
Madelyn obediently nodded. โI understand.โ
Lindsay witnessed this and scowled. Madelyn noticed, sneered inwardly, and leaned closer to Maxton. Lindsay rolled her eyes, fury burning within her.
After the evening training session, Madelynโs group left the center but waited in the garage to ambush Lindsay. She arrived soon after, and Madelynโs group surrounded her.
โGood evening, Coach York,โ Madelyn greeted with a smile.
Lindsay, sensing foreboding, frowned. โWhat are you all doing?โ
Madelyn scoffed, glancing at Josiah and Tristan. Understanding her intent, they swiftly grabbed Lindsayโs arms.
โWhat do you want?โ Lindsay was enraged.
Madelyn smirked, slapping Lindsay. โTo teach you a lesson, of course!โ A sharp sound echoed as a handprint appeared on Lindsayโs face. Lindsay, shocked, struggled to break free but couldnโt overcome the young menโs strength.
โMadelyn, youโve got some nerve!โ Lindsay roared.
Madelyn sneered, delivering another slap. โReally? Iโd say the same about you! I donโt recall crossing you, yet you had your students gang up on me. Isnโt it only fair that I hit you back?โ
โYou b*tch!โ Lindsay shrieked.
Madelyn, equally angry, retorted, โYouโre the b*tch! Get your facts straight! You had people bully me first! You havenโt apologized and dare to insult me? Iโm not as weak as you think!โ Madelynโs rage surged, and she repeatedly slapped Lindsay.
โIโm warning you, Lindsay. This time, itโs a lesson. But if you dare pull any more underhanded tricks, I wonโt let you off so easily!โ Madelyn kicked Lindsay. โLetโs go!โ
Madelynโs group left in high spirits, leaving Lindsay fuming. Once outside, Madelyn shook her numb hand.
Jillian, worried, asked, โMadelyn, do you think weโll get in trouble for bullying her?โ
Tristan chuckled. โDonโt worry, nothing will go wrong. She has a guilty conscience. We merely taught her a small lesson. Itโs not a big deal.โ
