Listen to this chapter:

Was Felicia trying to seduce Mr. Russell? The thought struck Arnold like a lightning bolt, instantly darkening his expression. A storm of anger, disbelief, and frustration raged within him, clenching his teeth and balling his fists. "Damn it!" he hissed.

Mike watched Arnold's erratic behavior with amused exasperation. "One more thing," Mike added, his tone serious. "Stay away from Felicia. Don't cause her trouble."

"Why?" Stephan retorted. "She's my fiancée." He emphasized the word, his jaw tightening.

Mike snorted derisively. "Oh, she's your fiancée now? Funny how that works. When your grandfather arranged your engagement, you were nowhere to be found. You skipped the ceremony, didn't you? You've got no claim on her. Stop dragging her name through the mud. She's not your fiancée; she has nothing to do with you."

Arnold remained unnervingly still, his voice calm but determined. "She will be." Mike blinked, stunned by his nephew's confidence.

After a long pause, Mike sighed, rubbing his temples. "This is why I shouldn't have come. Maybe I should have let Stephan handle you..." But they were family, and despite Arnold's infuriating behavior, Mike couldn't leave him to face the consequences alone. He adopted a sterner tone. "I'm serious. That warning came directly from Stephan. Stay away from Felicia, or you'll end up in a world of hurt."

Arnold flinched, his stomach sinking. Stephan warned him? He couldn't help but wonder, Isn't Mr. Russell known for being indifferent to women? Could it be... that he's interested in Felicia?

A thousand thoughts collided, until he finally blurted out, "No way in hell!"

Mike sighed deeply. "Just end it all already. I'm too tired for this."

Later that evening, Arnold visited Matthew. "Grandpa," he greeted, entering the study.

Matthew, seated at his desk painting, acknowledged him without looking up. "You're back. Something on your mind?"

Arnold nodded. "You see right through me, as always." He hesitated. "Grandpa, you told me to make Felicia willingly agree to marry me. But no matter what I try, she's unmoved." He glanced at his hand, the bite still faintly painful, then looked at Matthew. "Could you please help me one more time?"

Matthew set down his brush, his expression calm but amused. "After all the effort I went through to arrange your engagement, you threw it all away chasing Kayla like a lovesick fool. I warned you, didn't I? You'd regret it."

Arnold burned with embarrassment, but Matthew's next words offered hope. "So, you're asking for help. Tell me, what do you want me to do?"

Arnold straightened, his face alight with determination. "Grandpa, I need you to arrange another marriage. This time, I won't back out—I swear!"

Heavy silence fell. Then, Matthew hurled his palette at him. "You fool! Do you think the Lawsons need another public scandal? Wasn't the first fiasco humiliating enough?"

Arnold dodged; the palette smashed against the wall, splattering paint everywhere. "Grandpa..." Arnold pleaded, frustration lacing his voice. He feared Felicia would slip away.

Matthew took a deep breath. "I'll handle it," he said, his voice low and deliberate. "But this time, Arnold, you'd better not let me down."
