Clive struggled to open his eyes. Seeing Felicia, he offered a slight smile. "Licia, you're here? Good, good... Seeing you one last time brings me peace." For once, Felicia felt a pang of guilt. She knew Clive had been injured, but hadn't visited, always finding excuses to avoid the Walsh residence. She told herself it was because Harvey was there, but the truth was, she simply didn't want to go.

Stepping closer, she whispered, "Grandpa..." She couldn't forget how, months ago, Kayla had instigated trouble, leading to Lance kidnapping her. Clive had defended Felicia then, even risking the Chavezes' anger. That kindness had stayed with her.

"Such a good girl," Clive murmured, patting her hand before reaching under his pillow. He handed her something. "Licia, this is the last thing I can give you." Felicia recognized it instantly. "Grandpa, is this... a needle case?"

"Yes, open it," Clive said.

She opened it, stunned to find a set of golden needlesโ€”a treasured Walsh heirloom. Only the rightful heir of Harmony Medical Center could use them, yet Clive was giving them to her, an outsider.

Clive sighed. "Licia, Harmony Medical Center has been my life's work. Once I'm gone, it falls to Harvey. But that grandson of mine is reckless and incompetent. He'll ruin everything I've built."

Felicia remained silent, understanding why he'd called her and given her this priceless heirloom. He wanted her to save Harmony Medical Center. "Licia, you're the best candidate to inherit it. No one else compares. If onlyโ€ฆ if only you didn't bear the Fuller name," he lamented. Even as his granddaughter, her surname made her an outsider.

Felicia's smile was faint. "So, what exactly do you want me to do?"

"Licia, I don't have much time. But I can't let go of Harmony Medical Center. Please watch over it for me. I'm begging you."

"I'm sorry, I can't," Felicia said firmly, returning the needles. Though she appreciated them and knew her skills would excel with such tools, she added, "I have no interest in working hard to benefit someone else. I have the skills to support the medical center, why wouldn't I establish my own? Why should I uphold someone else's legacy?"

Clive's eyes widened. "Licia, do you have to be so ruthless?"

"You're mistaken," Felicia replied coldly. "I'm simply declining something I don't want. How is that ruthless?"

She stood, brushing dust from her clothes. Her tone was steady, emotionless. "Grandpa, get some rest. I'll be going." Without waiting for a response, she left.

At the doorway, Jake's family overheard. Seeing her, they exchanged glances before hesitantly speaking. "Felicia, Mr. Walsh Senior will treat you fairly. If you're willing to help keep the medical center runningโ€ฆ"

"If I help manage the medical center, I'd be splitting Harvey's authority in half. That would clearly benefit your family, wouldn't it?" Felicia interrupted sharply.

Their expressions froze.

"Whether you fight over the inheritance or lose it is your family's business," she stated flatly. "Don't use moral obligations to manipulate me."
