Felicia couldn't believe the girl had saved her from capture. Once it was safe, the girl, confined by the villagers, sighed in relief. "Hey, they're gone! You can come out now!" she called softly.

Felicia emerged from the hay, looking disheveled. With the criminals moving away, escape seemed possible. As she prepared to run, the girl dropped to her knees, desperation evident in her eyes. "Please help me! Take me with you!" she pleaded. "I was sold here and have been trapped for six months. You're the only person I've seen who isn't a villager in all that time! This place is hell, and these people are monsters! If I stay, I'll die!" Tears streamed down her face, a mixture of hope and despair. "Please... save me..."

Felicia wanted to help but felt powerless. The door was locked; breaking it would be noisy. Besides, the girl was chained.

"I promise I'll come back for you! Just wait for me!" Felicia said, sprinting toward the village exit. She needed help, or to call the authorities—only then could she save the girl.

But the girl's tearful cries and desperate eyes haunted her. The villagers had mentioned a new buyer arriving in the morning. After that, rescue would be impossible.

Felicia stopped, bit her lip, and turned back. Finding a sturdy rock, she began banging on the door lock with all her might.

Inside, the girl had been crying until she heard the commotion. Seeing Felicia, hope flickered in her eyes. After several blows, the door swung open.

The girl slowly emerged, her movements hampered by chains. But the noise had already alerted the criminals and villagers; they were rushing back. "There's no time!" Felicia dropped the rock and practically dragged the girl to a nearby trike motorcycle. Miraculously, the keys were in the ignition.

The girl's eyes lit up. "I can drive! Let me do it!"

"Okay," Felicia replied, climbing onto the back.

The girl twisted the throttle, and the motorcycle sped away, leaving pursuers far behind. They couldn't outrun a trike on foot.

"I know another way out of the village! We can make it!" exclaimed the girl, who had attempted escape before.

But fate intervened. The motorcycle hit a dip, becoming lodged on a large rock. Despite their efforts, it wouldn't budge.

The girl panicked. "What do we do?"

Time was running out; the villagers and criminals were closing in. Felicia jumped off and tried to move the rock. The distance between them shrank.

The girl cried, "We gotta hurry! Please!!"

Finally, Felicia moved the rock. "Got it!" she exclaimed. But as she leaped back toward the motorcycle, she missed. In the darkness, the motorcycle sped off, leaving Felicia behind.
