After the bounty was released, Baldy had nowhere to hide. Everyone he knew, and even those he didn't, regardless of any grudges, hunted him relentlessly. No matter where he tried to conceal himself, a pursuing crowd would appear within ten minutes. He felt dizzy and disoriented, as if the entire street sought his capture. He was trapped in this maelstrom.

The first to capture him was a female mercenary. She possessed wavy, voluminous hair, a seductive, mature look, and a body that was accentuated by tight leather. Her beauty and unique charm captivated onlookers, but her ruthlessness starkly contrasted with her appearance. After capturing Baldy, she swiftly dislocated his arms and broke one of his legs. โ€œI got you. Five billion,โ€ she said, blinking and smiling slyly.

Baldy hung his head in defeat, seemingly accepting his fate. The mercenary, confident in his capture, grabbed him by the collar and reached for her phone to contact her employer. Just as she dialed, Baldy suddenly headbutted her forehead with surprising forceโ€”the impact sounded like iron striking bone. She staggered back, narrowly avoiding serious injury. Seizing the opportunity, he limped away.

She touched the bleeding wound on her forehead, her stunning face contorted with fury. โ€œBaldy, youโ€™re finished!โ€ she snarled, giving chase. Suddenly, cars surrounded them. Hunters emergedโ€”some agile and wiry, others wielding spiked clubs, still others with cold, impassive expressions and sunglassesโ€”all vying for the bounty. They used every skill and resource, creating utter chaos, each displaying their unique talents. Baldy's escape was impossible.

The battle for the bounty ensued. Hundreds fought for the five billion. Baldy, tightly bound, hung in the center of the melee. An hour and a half later, the fighting ceased. Only nine remained standing amidst the fallen, including the female mercenary. With a smile, she gracefully tossed her hair back. โ€œSo, are we still fighting?โ€

A man in sunglasses glanced at his watch. โ€œI donโ€™t mind, but timeโ€™s running out.โ€ Only fifteen minutes remained until the twenty-four-hour deadline set by their employer. Claiming the full bounty required cooperation, for continued fighting would mean forfeiting everything.

The man with the spiked club scratched his head. โ€œHow about we make peace? Split the five billion evenly?โ€

โ€œFineโ€ฆโ€ they agreed. A significant share was better than annihilation. The nine temporarily allied, contacted Felicia for instructions, and marched into the hospital, Baldy in tow, their confidence unshaken.
