"Just tell me if you accept this task or not. If not, I'll find someone else," Johanna sneered. "You can't even utilize the given opportunity. What a bunch of useless fools!"

The low-level thugs hesitated, but fearing she might offer the opportunity to others, quickly responded, "We agree! Ms. Rosario, we're all in. Once this is done, you must speak to Mr. Rosario and let us join the Russell family. We'll work hard for him!"

"That depends on your performance," Johanna replied, ending the call.

Her only remaining obstacle was finding Mina. After receiving Dexter's compensation, Mina had returned to her hometown and purchased a house on the outskirts of Khogend. Johanna knew this, thanks to Mina's relatives' boasts and online videos; locating her would be easy. Now, it was up to the thugs.

Johanna scrolled through her phone, absentmindedly opening her photo album, filled with thousands of pictures of her and Archie. She traced his handsome face on the screen, her eyes filled with longing. "I miss you so much, Archie..."

At the Fuller residence, the negativity surrounding Kayla had subsided. She no longer hid; she walked confidently in the sun. The Fuller family business thrived, and Dexter, though busy, was less frantic and in better spirits. Kayla had seemingly turned over a new leaf, participating in small charity events. Though still on temporary leave from school, she mostly played the role of a charming and attentive daughter, showering Myra and Dexter with affection, even washing Myra's feet, bringing her to tears.

Sebastian, for unknown reasons, had left the family business, ignoring Dexter's objections to pursue ventures abroad. Kayla was secretly pleased. Shortly after Clive's passing, Myra and Dexter, without Sebastian's interference, transferred 20% of the company's shares to Kayla. They also divided their estate equally between Sebastian and Kayla, with Kayla inheriting Myra's beauty salon entirely. Felicia was deliberately excluded; her former room was now Kayla's, her belongings discarded. This was a result of Kayla's subtle slandering. Felicia's disappearance for seven days, including missing Clive's funeral, had intensified Myra and Dexter's dislike.

Feeling secure with the family assets divided, Kayla produced a box left by Clive, feigning concern. "Oh no, this is Grandpa's last gift for Felicia. Should we send it to her?"

The box contained golden needles, specifically intended for Felicia, while the rest of the Walsh family inheritance had gone to Jake's family. Because Felicia hadn't attended Clive's funeral, Myra had confiscated the needles. Now, seeing them, Myra recalled Felicia's actions and scowled. "Why should I give them to her? Put them back!"

"Okay," Kayla replied.
