Chapter 72: Gaze

Sebastian's smile vanished, replaced by a cold, sharp look that swept over the shouting students. His gaze finally settled on Selena, the ringleader. He had returned silently, notifying no one, not even his family. After arriving at the airport, he'd gone straight to Khogend College, eager to meet Felicia. Instead, he found her being bullied. Selena, in particular, had attempted to scald Felicia with boiling water. Young, but undeniably malicious.

Under Sebastian's intense stare, Selena burst into tears. "Sebastian, don't you remember me? I'm Kayla's friend. We met at your house." "I don't know you," he replied coldly.

Selena desperately tried to jog his memory. "Sebastian, I'm Selena Potter. Our families do business together!" "The Potters," Sebastian recalled indifferently. "Your family is bidding on a project, I believe."

Relief washed over Selena. She'd assumed their business relationship would save her. But to her horror, Sebastian turned to his assistant, Colin Levine, at the door. "Terminate all collaboration with the Potters. They are banned from future bids."

"Yes, sir," Colin replied, bowing slightly.

Selena's face paled. Her hands trembled. "I'm so sorry, Sebastian. I made a mistake. Please, for Kayla's sake, forgive me."

Sebastian ignored her plea. His gaze swept the class, a stern warning. "Felicia is not someone you offend. Understand?"

Dead silence fell. Only then did they realize Felicia was the daughter of the wealthiest Fuller family in Khogend—the Fuller heiress.

After warning the group, Sebastian's expression softened slightly as he turned to Felicia. "When does your class end? I'll wait and take you home."

Felicia hesitated. He'd just arrived and likely didn't know she lived on campus. Seeing his exhaustion, her heart softened. "Sebastian, you haven't eaten yet. Let's go."

"Right."

As they started to leave, Felicia remembered something. She turned to a man in the last row. "Sorry, I used your water. I'll buy you a new bottle."

The man, struck by Felicia's beauty, flushed. "No need... It's fine."

Sebastian shot Colin a look. Colin immediately understood.

Half an hour later, Felicia and Sebastian were seated at a restaurant. The aroma of delicious food filled the air. Felicia had suggested eating before going home. Sebastian agreed, but asked, "You don't seem to like the campus cafeteria?"

Felicia smiled, but didn't answer.

Sebastian paid the bill. Felicia stepped out first, Sebastian following.

It was dinner time at the Fuller residence. The family glanced up as Felicia entered, then looked away, as if not noticing her.
