Listen to this chapter:

Felicia had left for class only half an hour earlier, leaving her room empty. Holly felt nervous; this was her first such undertaking. But the thought of helping Kayla remove Felicia, the nuisance, strengthened her resolve.

She quickly entered the room and searched Felicia's belongings. The room was spacious, but Felicia's possessions were few. After some rummaging, Holly found a medicine kit containing a needle case and small bottles. According to Kayla, these bottles held Cilve-prescribed scar-removal ointment for Felicia's injured leg. Holly's task was to swap the ointment. She carefully removed the ointment and replaced it with the substance Kayla provided, meticulously ensuring the bottles appeared untouched.

Sighing in relief, her curiosity piqued. She wondered about Kayla's substance, having asked earlier but received only a smile and a change of subject. Curiously, Holly sniffed the bottle. She detected only the bitter, fragrant scent of the scar-removal ointment. She was about to replace the bottle when she felt an intense heat, as if a fire ignited within her. Her face flushed, and she softly moaned.

Fortunately, she had only sniffed the substance. A cool breeze from the window snapped her back to reality, and she shivered, realizing its potency. If Felicia applied it, the effects would be magnified a hundredfold; she would lose control and possibly her dignity. What a vicious plan! Holly had anticipated only a minor allergic reaction or worsening of Felicia's scars, not this. The consequences of Felicia losing control were unimaginable.

Holly hesitated briefly, then suppressed her curiosity. Felicia deserved this. There was no one else to blame. She carefully returned the bottles to their places and quietly left Felicia's room, giving Kayla an "all-clear" signal before departing the Fuller residence.

Sitting on the balcony, Kayla sipped coffee, a gleam of satisfaction in her eyes. The plan was in motion; it was only a matter of waiting for Felicia to take the bait. The downside was the uncertainty of when Felicia would use the ointment. She needed to arrange for men to be near Felicia soon to ensure success.

Kayla called Talia: "Talia, Felicia will likely go to the Walsh residence tomorrow, Saturday. Keep a close watch and retrieve that item as soon as possible." "Don't worry," Talia replied confidently. "Grandpa poured his effort into this item. Its effects are potent. As long as Felicia makes contact, even the slightest, she won't escape. Plus, there's the poison. It's a double guarantee."

Kayla's eye twitched. "I'm not at ease while she's alive. She might not use the ointment. Poison is more reliable. The ointment ruins her dignity; poison makes her disappear. I'll go to the Walsh residence tomorrow. I won't wait. I need that poison and must act quickly."
