Chapter 74
“My mom said Star Electronics, a gift from the Yates family to Isabel, is now entrusted to me. I own thirty percent, and Thane agreed,” Samuel explained. “Mom also said you’ll be treated equally going forward. Whatever benefits Fiona and Grace receive, you will too. You won’t be treated humbly in the Galvez family anymore.”
Hannah understood immediately. “You want me to command respect within the Galvez family?”
“Exactly,” Samuel affirmed. “Since marrying me and having children, you haven’t had a single day of comfort. They look down on you, treating you as inferior. I want you to hold your head high!”
“So, I need to assert my position within the Galvez Group; I can’t let William and Hugh monopolize everything. Giving in only emboldens them,” Samuel said, holding her hand, his voice filled with resolve.
Hannah wiped away her tears. “That isn’t necessary. I’m happy enough.”
“Dad, I support you! Since it was a gift from the Yates family, we should keep it. Even thirty percent is better in our hands than William and Hugh’s,” Isabel declared.
“Great! With your support, I’m sure I can succeed!” Samuel felt a surge of confidence.
Blake whispered to Isabel, “Your dad’s determined to make a name for himself in business.”
“After years of humility, he’s finally realized it,” Isabel replied. “Let Star Electronics be his proving ground. Profit doesn’t matter as much—what matters is upsetting William and Hugh.”
Samuel, born into wealth and privilege, possessed a sharp mind despite years away from business. Returning to management wouldn't be a problem.
Later, Blake drove them back to Golden Villa before returning to his company.
Isabel received a call from Chris. “The Clyde Group is on the brink of bankruptcy. The company is going into liquidation, and I heard even their villa, their home for over a decade, is being sold!”
Isabel said, “That’s great news!”
“Just before bankruptcy, Caius tried a trick against me—reaching out as if the Oceania Group were easily manipulated!” Chris added.
“Keep an eye on their activities and let me know if anything happens,” Isabel said, ending the call.
At the Clyde residence, Rosy took Amelia’s jewelry box. “Mom, those are mine!” Amelia cried.
“Amelia, we have debts to pay; these are material things. Holding onto them is pointless. They should be sold.”
“Absolutely not! They are mine!” Amelia was close to breaking down. Since joining the Clyde family, she had accumulated many jewels, but as their fortune dwindled, they had to be sold. Now, her last possessions were being taken. She couldn’t find peace.
Rosy felt helpless. If not for their dire situation, she never would have sold her daughter’s jewels. Soon, movers arrived, and Amelia was confused by the unfamiliar faces.
“Mom, what are they doing here? Why have they come to our home?” Amelia asked.
Rosy said, “This is a moving crew. We’re moving today.”
“Moving? Why?”
Rosy looked at the villa they’d lived in for over a decade. “I bought a new apartment; it will be enough for our family.”
“What! An apartment?” Amelia was stunned. The change from a grand villa to an apartment was immense. She’d lived a life of privilege, but her life had become a nightmare. “Mom, how could our family have fallen so low?”

Chapter 74
“Ethan’s been blacklisted and can’t find work in the entertainment industry. He’s accumulated a lot of debt, and if we don’t pay, he’ll end up in jail,” Anelia sobbed. None of her brothers could be relied upon. “Also, your dad is very ill from the stress and is in the hospital; the medical bills are another burden! Amelia, my dear, please bear with this hardship.”
Amelia felt utterly drained. She’d suffered enough. From birth, her life had been tumultuous. Just when she’d returned to a life of privilege, it all crumbled within a year. She’d become enchanted by that luxurious lifestyle. On social media, everyone saw her as a “little rich girl,” begging for attention. Now, she could never flaunt her wealth again. She wouldn’t accept this.
That day marked Samuel’s official return to the company. Formally dressed and prepared by Hannah, he looked like the charming husband of her youth. He had been a handsome young man, captivating Hannah in their younger years.
“Samuel, you look full of life today! It seems you’ve regained some years!” Hannah said.
“You love to tease me, don’t you? I’m far from young!” he replied.
Seeing her husband so energized comforted Hannah; his decision to return to the Galvez Group was wise. Everyone needs purpose to feel motivated.
“Dad, congratulations! I wish you great success!” Jack exclaimed.
“Congratulations, Dad! Our family now has a company!” Roy added cheerfully. Their family had definitely changed.
“Kids, I will work hard. While I’m here, William and Hugh won’t win. What is rightfully ours, I will take back!” Samuel declared passionately.
“Dad, can I go to the company with you today? I want to see what our company looks like!” Roy said eagerly.
“Of course, Roy, let’s go take a look.”
That morning, everyone had their tasks. Isabel noticed her dad’s bright mood. Blake hadn’t come in but sent Richard to take Isabel to school. In class, their mentor, Emma Grove, announced a meeting.
“Joy Entertainment is looking for a costume designer to create uniforms for their artists for a variety show. I submitted designs from our class, and so far, only Yvette and Isabel are shortlisted. They only need one designer, and Joy Entertainment will make the final choice. If selected, make the most of this chance—it’s a great opportunity,” Emma said.
The classmates began praising Yvette. “Yvette is sure to be chosen; her design is the best in our class.”
