Chapter 1153: Hannah's Guidance

Hannah remained silent, understanding Theodore's emotional turmoil. His outpouring of emotion was a testament to the depth of his feelings. He seemed to struggle for breath as he spoke.

After a moment, Theodore composed himself. "Hannah, I'm not lying. I'm in love."

Despite his earlier passionate words, Hannah laughed. Theodore heard her.

"I'm not ashamed to admit it," he continued. "I've fallen deeply in love with Little Bunny. I never imagined loving someone so intensely. I'm desperate for her. I can barely breathe when I see her with another. I despise myself for this, but I can't change who I've become."

"I can't stand seeing two people in love separate," he said. "Hannah, you and Oscar have feelings for each otherโ€”don't deny it. If you didn't care for him, you wouldn't still be single. You've been with Doyle for a long time, but don't use amnesia as an excuse. You maintained distance from other men, even when you couldn't remember, subconsciously proving your love for Oscar. Why can't you be together? This is devastating to me."

Hannah was speechless.

"Hannah, consider this. Even if it means starting over, can you give Oscar a chance?"

"How are you and Little Bunny doing?" Hannah changed the subject.

The mention of her name brought Theodore to the brink of tears. "Very badly! She hates me. She called me dirty. It's all my fault."

He deeply regretted his past indiscretions.

"So, are you giving up?"

"No!" Theodore gritted his teeth. "I love her too much. If I give up, she'll leave me for someone else."

"How do you plan to win her back?" Hannah asked.

"I don't know," Theodore admitted, frustrated. "All I can think of is taking Little Bunny on a trip after her busy period, hoping to rekindle things."

"Traveling is good; it can help you relax."

"But I'm afraid of ruining things. Hannah, you don't know how much she hates me. I'm afraid of pushing her further away."

"Pay close attention, and you'll change her mind," Hannah encouraged.

"Really?"

"Yes."

Hannah recalled a moment from her past life: Little Bunny accepting an award, Theodore presenting it, and Little Bunny gazing at him with love.

"If I'd known, I would have told you. I wouldn't have called Susan! She hit me! If not for her words, I wouldn't have argued with Little Bunny, and I wouldn't have slapped her."

The thought of that slap broke his heart again. He'd seen her swollen face that morning, fueling his guilt.

"You hit Little Bunny?"

"Yes."

Hannah learned the full story. Theodore, seizing the opportunity, poured out his heart, recounting his entire relationship with Little Bunny.

Hannah advised, "Since she dislikes you, keep your distance. Don't push her; it will only worsen things."

"Will she just leave?" Theodore asked anxiously.

"For the sake of your status, she won't leave easily. She still cares, and don't forget Nicholas."

"What role does my son play?"

"He's crucial. Whether you and Little Bunny reconcile depends on Nicholas."

"How should I proceed?"

"Not yet. If Nicholas intervenes now, Little Bunny will resist more. Anyone trying to persuade her will only make things worse."

"Then what?"

"Keep your distance. No physical contact whatsoever."

"I'm afraid I can't control myself."

"Then forget about winning her back."

"Okay, I won't touch her," Theodore gritted his teeth.

"Apologize sincerely," Hannah said. "Hitting a woman is wrong. She may not accept it now, but it's crucial for the future."

"I understand." He'd never apologized so humbly.

"And don't interfere with her work. Respect her career, and don't underestimate her integrity," Hannah added, recalling Little Bunny's answer in a past life reality showโ€”she'd only been with one man: Theodore.

"How do you know?" Theodore asked incredulously.

Hannah's insight always astonished him.

"If you don't believe me, stop asking," she playfully threatened.

"I didn't mean it that way! You're far more reliable than Susan! I should have come to you sooner!" Theodore exclaimed, furious at Susan's earlier words.
