Chapter 460 The Game (3) Goals Achieved

"Don't flatter me," Bills said. "If you trust me to see the trade secrets, it's my honor to take a look."

"Yes. I want to show you the project because I trust you."

"Well, then I'll take it. As I didn't choose this cooperation, it'll be my compensation."

"And I appreciate that," Hannah nodded. "Mind if I borrow your projector?"

"It's okay."

Hannah instructed Tan to connect her computer to the projector. Bills and his assistant sat on one side; Tan and Rose sat on the other. Hannah began her presentation.

"This is the development concept for our e-commerce platform. In my opinion, within ten years, online consumption will become mainstream, capturing at least sixty percent of the offline market. Even within five years, mobile phones will meet all our daily needsโ€”eating, transportation, payments, and so on. Transitioning is crucial because trends wait for no one."

Bills nodded in agreement.

Hannah continued, "This is our e-commerce platform plan. We believe it's vital to build a complete platform, including a user-friendly interface, fast logistics, a large merchant base, and robust after-sales service. Given these priorities, we've developed the following plans..." Hannah meticulously detailed every aspect of their project, including the interface design.

Initially, Bills listened critically, but he became increasingly impressed by its comprehensiveness. He was genuinely shocked.

Hannah spent nearly two hours presenting the project they'd completed the previous night. "What do you think, Mr. Jones?" she asked.

Bills regarded Hannah silently for a moment. Hannah waited patiently, without interrupting.

He took a deep breath. "I have to say, this is the best project I've ever seenโ€”not just in Northfield, but anywhere in the world. Your foresight is remarkable; you even have a better plan for the future than I do. Ms. Hannah, you make me realize that not cooperating with you would be a grave mistake."

Hannah smiled. "I don't know, Mr. Jones."

"Now I hesitate," Bills said, a note of regret in his voice. "Should I abandon Sawyer and cooperate with you? It's a pity that, while your plan is superior, it's later to market. I need scale now; I don't have time to wait for your e-commerce industry to mature. I'm sure I'll regret this someday, but I have no choice."

Bills was in a dilemma. Hannah understood. A company could not afford to lose the battle against time, especially with a project of this magnitude. Missing the ideal launch window was unacceptable.

"You don't need to decide," Hannah said. Bills frowned. "You prefer our project but need Sawyer's scale. Why not have both?" Hannah raised an eyebrow.

Bills paused, surprised. "You mean, I can leverage their scale and use your marketing project?"

"Why not?"

"Is that acceptable to you?" Bills was confused. "Cooper Group has ample resources to develop its own e-commerce industry, and you have this exceptional project. You'll succeed eventually."

"Then why wait?" Hannah countered. "Mr. Jones, you're a leading figure in global e-commerce. Cooperating with you is a success for me. Benefits come in many forms, and money is only one. I believe what I'll learn from you will be invaluable. So, I'm willing to cooperate with you and build an international e-commerce platform alongside Sawyer."

It was a win-win situation, leaving Bills no reason to refuse.

"But," Bills worried, "would Sawyer Group agree?"

"They have no reason not to," Hannah stated frankly. "You're choosing Sawyer for the international e-commerce platform and simultaneously hiring a third party for marketing. This is a standard marketing approach. For example, if Cooper Group builds housing complexes, they often use partner sales teamsโ€”specialists. As the Northfield saying goes, 'Everyone does what they do best.' Only through specialization can we achieve more with less."

"Great!" Bills exclaimed without hesitation. He'd been persuaded quickly.

"I'll negotiate with Sawyer as you suggested, and I'll let you know if there's good news."

"Mr. Jones, I need to tell you something. During negotiations, please don't reveal that Cooper Group is the third party. Charles and I have a history; if he knows we're involved, he'll likely refuse. However, I promise to leave my personal feelings out of the work. If Cooper Group handles the entire e-commerce project's marketing, we will fulfill our responsibilities and give our best."

"I trust you," Bills said. "I checked your advertising achievements yesterday, and I trust your character. You can be assured I'll handle negotiations with Sawyer appropriately. Go back and wait for the good news."

"Thank you," Hannah said, standing. After shaking hands, Hannah left with Tan and Rose. Hannah and Tan remained composed, but Rose was ecstatic. She'd never considered this alternative approach, and Hannah's ability to overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges impressed her.

As they reached the elevator, Lee emerged with Charles, Martina, and a senior Sawyer Group manager. The Sawyer family's expressions changed upon seeing Hannah.

"You bitch are everywhere," Martina snarled. "Like a haunting ghost."

Hannah glared. "You're worse. At least a ghost haunts. You only bark like a dog!"
