Chapter 679: Coming Storm (1)

"Linka, you may dismiss yourself," Hannah said, turning to her.

Linka hesitated. "But Master Melvin requested I serve you." She was aware of her duty.

"Ask him if you're free to leave. Tell him I wish to be alone. If he insists, return; I won't send you away," Hannah replied.

Linka agreed. "I'll ask Master Melvin for permission." She bowed respectfully and departed.

As soon as Linka left, Hannah asked Jimmy, "Have you brought your phone?" Jimmy shook his head. "No, they took it." They were now cut off from communication.

Gritting her teeth, Hannah knew contacting Oscar seemed impossible. Worse, Melvin had a servant spying on her, hindering communication with anyone, even Jimmy.

Linka soon returned. "Mrs. Wells, out of concern for your well-being, Master Melvin insists I stay with you, due to your pregnancy."

Hannah looked sullen. The conversation hadn't worked; Melvin still didn't trust her.

Meanwhile, in Kensbury City, Oscar announced Hannah's pregnancy and a halt to all business activities until the birth. This cleverly explained her absence and prevented suspicion.

Congratulations poured in. The public was intensely interested in his relationship with Hannah.

Afterward, he called Theodore. "I need the earliest flight to the Capital."

Theodore sounded annoyed. "Didn't you just promise me a few more days' rest?" He'd planned some leisure time. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, he grumbled, unlike Oscar and Manuel, Theodore found sexual abstinence torturous.

Oscar continued, "Text me when you get the ticket."

"Hey!" Theodore protested. He sensed Oscar's bad mood, despite the lack of overt anger. They'd been friends since childhood.

He wondered if Oscar was upset with Hannah over halting business activities for the baby. Theodore, frankly, thought it would be a boring time for Hannah.

Before Oscar's call, Theodore had planned a rendezvous. Suppressing his desires, he instructed his assistant to book two flight tickets.

The flight departed in three hours. He texted Oscar, who replied, "Come pick me up."

Speechless and irritated, Theodore knew a discreet visit to the Capital awaited him.

He informed his father, Laird, who readily assisted with Oscar's affairs. Returning to his room to pack, he found Little Bunny breastfeeding the baby.

She was surprised by his unexpected appearance; he rarely returned to his room. His previous extended stay in the Capital, followed by his father's disciplinary measures the previous night, had kept him away until the afternoon. His interest in the baby had waned.

Little Bunny shifted to shield herself, embarrassed by their unconventional relationship. But Theodore paused, seemingly stunned.

He'd previously felt little desire for her, considering her unsuitable to fulfill his needs. Yet, seeing her now, everything felt different.

He swallowed hard. Even with her back turned, her fair skin and figure captivated him.

"How long has it been since your confinement?" he asked.

After a surprised pause, she replied, "More than a month."

He checked the time. "How much longer will she breastfeed?"

"Almost finished."

"I have to leave for the Capital."

"Okay," Little Bunny replied.

Distraught, he stared at her before packing.

After breastfeeding, Little Bunny gave the baby to the nanny and went to clean herself, a necessity after breastfeeding. She considered weaning the baby.

The door burst open. Startled, she instinctively covered herself, forgetting Theodore's presence. Watching her, he lost control; his earlier self-control in the closet had vanished. His wait for her to finish breastfeeding had twisted his features. Finding her in the bathroom, his desire intensified.

She felt like she was facing a starving beast, her nervousness palpable as he approached, pinning her to the wall and releasing his pent-up desire. Gasps and groans filled the room.

Theodore left, deeply satisfied. The prolonged abstinence had made the experience extraordinary, leaving him still recalling the moment and oddly fantasizing about Little Bunny in a pornographic film.

Desire surged again. Checking the time, he told the chauffeur, "Speed up!"

He would have lingered longer but for the flight. Taking a deep breath, he found Oscar waiting at the villa gate. Oscar's furious expression perplexed him.

Was Oscar merely angry about the half-hour wait?
