Chapter 972: Unexpected Encounter

"I'm going to use the restroom," Little Bunny announced.

Addison nodded.

Little Bunny entered the restroom in the luxurious private room. Meanwhile, Hazel, in a sweet voice, called to Theodore. He turned, assuming Little Bunny had left without a word.

"I have warm water for you. Would you like some?" Hazel offered a glass.

Theodore took the glass. Hazel's hand trembled, spilling half the water onto his trousers.

"I'm so sorry, Mr. Wold!" she exclaimed, frantically wiping the spill.

Theodore and his friends saw through her actโ€”a familiar tactic, albeit effective. The wet trousers provided the perfect excuse for an early departure, leaving an opening for Hazel and Theodore to spend time together, just as she planned.

"Never mind," Theodore replied coldly, rising to his feet. This surprised everyone; he was known for never refusing a woman's advances. Was it Little Bunny? He'd been glancing at her all night, a fact that impressed his friends with her apparent "tactics."

"I'll go with you," Hazel offered, following him into the restroom. There, she feigned a stumble, embracing him tightly from behind. She was confident he wouldn't refuse her.

Theodore paused. Though not in the mood, he had little reason to refuse a woman throwing herself at him.

Hazel, relieved by his acquiescence, began, "Mr. Wold, my friends say you have impeccable taste andโ€ฆ"

She paused, awaiting his reaction.

"And what?" Theodore asked, turning to her.

A rosy blush painted Hazel's cheeks, adding to her allure. Whether from drink or shyness, no one knew.

"And you're good in bed," she confessed, her desire evident.

Theodore chuckled. "So what?"

"I-Iโ€ฆ" Hazel stammered, gathering herself. "I just want to see what it feels like." She wrapped her arms around his neck, rising on tiptoe to kiss him.

Theodore didn't resist. Just as her lips neared his, a man's voice called from outside, "Little Bunny, are you still in there?"

Startled, Hazel recoiled. Theodore frowned at the mention of Little Bunny's name, glancing toward the private cubicles.

The restroom's three independent cubicles, a thoughtful design, often prevented awkward situations, particularly with intoxicated patrons. Little Bunny had remained inside the gender-neutral restroom since Theodore and Hazel arrived. Overhearing their conversation, she'd hidden, unexpectedly interrupted by Addison's call.

Couldn't he have just come in? she thought. That would have broken them up, and I could have left.

After some hesitation, Little Bunny opened her cubicle door, meeting Theodore's intense gaze. She hadn't intended to eavesdrop, wishing she'd heard nothing.

"Mr. Wold," she greeted calmly, maintaining a practiced composure. Both were skilled actresses, their public personas preventing such overt seduction.

"Well, then, you guys continue," she said, wanting to escape Theodore's stare. She started to leave without washing her hands, unnoticed. Silence was the best option.

Stepping out, she breathed a sigh of relief.

"What took you so long? I'm leaving. Coming?" Addison asked.

"You almost killed me!" Little Bunny retorted.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

She glanced back at the restroom, pulling Addison away. "What's wrong with you?"

"Let's go! Get out of here!"

"Shouldn't we tell the director?"

"No need. Just go," she urged. Another encounter with Theodore and Hazel would only worsen the situation.
