Charles’s cruel words broke Jane’s heart. “How could you judge me like that? I was a virgin, and I gave you my virginity! Now you’ve defamed me!”

“Virgin? You were acting like a slut!” Charles sneered. “Watch our wedding sex tape again. That face? No one believes it was your first time. Was it mine either? Yes.”

“It was my first time,” Jane insisted. “You said you’d be responsible.”

“The blood means nothing,” Charles taunted. “Modern medicine can easily repair a hymen.”

Jane’s heart shattered. Roger, though disliking Jane, couldn't tolerate her mistreatment. She was his daughter, and this humiliation reflected poorly on him. He'd hoped to gain favor with the Sawyers, but instead, they’d been insulted. He lunged at Charles, but a Sawyer servant stopped him.

“Whose house do you think you’re in? You can’t behave like this! You can’t even inherit Cooper family property. Shame on you!” Lee yelled.

“You monsters!” Roger roared, furious. Esther, seeing Roger restrained, rushed toward Charles, scratching him frantically. Charles, surprised, pushed her to the ground.

“Help! Murder!” Esther screamed.

Enraged, Jane attacked Charles, but Loretta swiftly slapped her. Stunned, Jane stared at Loretta, the elegant lady revealed as brutally vulgar.

“Shame on you! A noble lady behaving like a prostitute!” Loretta spat.

“Exactly!” Martina chimed in. “The Coopers are all bitches and sluts!”

Jane was appalled by their cruelty. Tears streamed down her face as Roger struggled against his captors, and Esther continued her tirade.

“Are you done?” Lee roared.

“Let me go!” Roger snarled.

Lee dismissed the servant. Roger moved to attack again.

“Take another step, and I’ll kill you!” Lee threatened.

“Try me!” Roger challenged, but hesitated.

Lee tossed a check at Roger’s feet.

“You think I’m a beggar?” Roger seethed.

“Take it or leave it. But your daughter won’t marry into our family!” Lee ordered. “Tom, show Mr. Cooper out!”

Tom and other servants roughly ejected Roger, Esther, and Jane. Tom threw the check down. “Take it and get lost!”

Roger, furious at the servant’s audacity, kicked the door. Jane wept inconsolably.

“Enough!” Roger snapped at Jane, then slumped in the car, his face grim.

“Are we going to let them get away with this?” Jane raged. “I hate him! I want revenge!”

“No way,” Roger growled. “They humiliated me. I’ll make them pay!”

Back at Sawyer Manor, unease lingered.

“Will they retaliate?” Charles worried, remembering his humiliation at Jane’s hands.

“Roger might,” Lee admitted. “He’s a minor branch of the Coopers; losing face isn't a big deal for them. But it’s a different story for us.”

“We need to destroy them,” Charles said viciously.

“What’s your plan?”

“I’ll ruin Jane's reputation. Her scandals will restore my honor.”

“Excellent,” Lee agreed. “We crush anyone who crosses us.”

“Including Hannah,” Charles added, his eyes cold. He’d make Hannah suffer.

At Cooper Group, Hannah encountered Wayne.

“Why are you here?” Wayne demanded.

“My father is CEO. Or do you think only your family belongs here?” Hannah retorted.

Wayne glared, silently vowing to take over Cooper Group as the sole male heir.
