Chapter 1061

Andrew declared, “Perfect timing. I’m here to take Lauren, and I’d like to ask for her hand in marriage.”

Tiana’s face twisted in shock and fury. The rest of the Rhodes family instantly turned toward Andrew, their expressions blazing with outrage.

“Kid, who do you think you are? Do you think you’re worthy of asking Lauren to marry you?” one demanded.

Another scoffed, “Get lost! Lauren would never be with someone like you. Joe is the only one fit to marry our Lauren!”

A third chimed in, “I’ve heard of you, Andrew Lloyd from Jayrodale. Let me advise you: if you value your life, leave. Otherwise, keep acting like a fool.”

Scorn and rage rained down on Andrew. Jameson approached, looking helpless, and intervened. “Andy, don’t take it personally. The Rhodes family is in crisis; everyone’s on edge.”

Andrew nodded. “Mr. Rhodes, I can tell. Something big’s about to happen. If I can help, just say the word.”

Jameson quickly shook his head. “Thanks, but no. Our family matters are none of your concern.”

Tiana sneered, “Worry about yourself. Leave while you can. Otherwise, don’t blame me if I can’t protect you when things go down.”

Andrew frowned. Tiana’s words suggested imminent danger. The Rhodes family seemed to be sitting on a ticking time bomb, their panic barely concealed.

Suddenly, a loud bang echoed from the front doors. Someone had kicked them open. Sharp cries followed, the sounds of security guards being overpowered.

“It’s bad. They’re here!” Tiana declared, her face grim.

The Rhodes family looked terrified. Andrew, however, remained calm as he watched the door. Footsteps echoed, growing louder, as several figures entered without haste.

Leading them was a burly, bearded old man exuding a terrifying presence, a savage aura that made breathing difficult. Behind him were two disciples—a man and a woman—and Kenny and his daughter, Sherilyn.

The old man commanded, “Jameson, step down. Kenny is the new head of the Rhodes family.”

His arrogant tone was casual. Jameson sat frozen in the main chair.

Aidan Haywood, a legendary figure from Holtriens’ southern martial circles and a Martial King, spoke. “Mr. Haywood Senior, aren’t you overstepping by interfering in the Rhodes family’s affairs?”

Haywood was ranked fifth on the Underworld Index, higher than Zachary. He sneered, “Overstepping? The Rhodes are ants. I’m giving you a chance to relinquish power peacefully. If I lose my patience and wipe you and your wife out… that won’t be fun.”

Aidan chuckled, his ruthlessness evident. The Rhodes family paled. Even Tiana’s face went white, her rage and humiliation barely suppressed. Disaster had arrived.
